Was hoping I wouldn’t have to make this post, but I am struggling with feeling confident and comfortable with my list at the moment. I’m really only loving a few names that aren’t “over the top” or “ridiculous”, and I’m sort of needing convincing on a few of my loves now I feel like?

I really love [name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f], but I have met so many little girls named [name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f]/Aliyah or have names that rhyme (Khaliyah, [name_f]Jaliyah[/name_f]).

I’ve always loved [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f], but then it got super popular, at least where I live, so I took it off my own list. [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] from [name_m]Aladdin[/name_m] had always been my favorite Disney princess.
I mean I’d totally admire someone naming their child [name_u]Angel[/name_u]- have you seen [name_f]Buffy[/name_f] the Vampire Slayer?
[name_u]Courtney[/name_u] is also really pretty and sophisticated.
Aaliyah - classic
[name_f]Aiyana[/name_f] - sounds cool and friendly

[name_f]Harmoni[/name_f] - one of the best people I know is named this and I love it

Aaliyah - at this point I can’t imagine you with any other name at the top of your list. It’s perfect for you, it has the music diva connection without being a one-person-name, it’s your style look-wise and sound-wise and overall really pretty.
[name_f]Alondra[/name_f] - I’d even use it myself
[name_f]Aiyana[/name_f] - just as pretty as [name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f]. It’s a shame they’re too close for sisters
[name_f]Kamiyah[/name_f] - now that’s a good sister to [name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f]
[name_f]Deja[/name_f] - simple and cute.
[name_u]Diamond[/name_u] - perfect for you. You know you love it.
[name_f]Janiyah[/name_f] - I think I prefer [name_f]Kamiyah[/name_f], but they’re equally pretty.

Monique, [name_f]Jazmine[/name_f], [name_u]Courtney[/name_u], [name_u]Paris[/name_u], [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u], [name_u]Angel[/name_u] - they are all perfectly fine, well-established names. You’re overthinking it.
Angel - one of my most dear friends is [name_u]Angel[/name_u], so I have never found [name_u]Angel[/name_u] to be trying too hard or pretentious or unable to live up to. It’s so beautiful because of it’s meaning, and such a spunky short fun sounding name.
Diamond - I love all the mineral names. [name_u]Diamond[/name_u] is an especially sparkly one, and doesn’t feel over the top to me as I don’t place more emphasis on diamonds then any other jewels (I know some do). Here again, the connections make the name beautiful, while the sound is sharp and fresh.
Essence - the perfect word name. A recognized, but not so commonly used word. With an ethereal, lovely meaning. And the sound is so namey!
Harmoni - what a beautiful meaning and sound. I have known girls by this name, and it feels very workable to me. It makes me think of music, what could be better. I feel like it fits so well with [name_f]Aria[/name_f], [name_f]Melody[/name_f], [name_u]Cadence[/name_u], [name_f]Allegra[/name_f] -but is just more unexpected!
Legacy - I just recently heard of this used on a child irl. I love the image and meaning. The Leg- part halts me sometime, but I think it’s usable. This may not be very convincing, but I didn’t want to leave it since I do love it. I think it would be the ultimate middle name if you were doubting any.
Phoenix - this has always been on the back of my mind for my own list. It has so much history, and should be easily recognized but not over used. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the sound and the combination of letters in this name.
Zariyah - I have never considered this name my self. But it is the epitome of beauty! [name_f]Every[/name_f] component of it, from the Z to the -h.
Xiomara - this name also has just the most gorgeous, melodic sound. The X makes such an unexpected, spunky look. I love [name_f]Mara[/name_f], and putting Xio in front only improves it.
