Needing a strong but different boy name!!!

I’m 31 weeks, and am still undecided on a boys name. I have three girls, [name]Mishayla[/name], [name]Tuesday[/name], and [name]Finnley[/name]. I preffer names that are a bit different, and can’t seem to find anything for a boy!!! Some of the ones that have made our short list are

[name]Brock[/name]
[name]Kit[/name]
[name]Steele[/name]
Krew
Edge
[name]Jett[/name]
[name]Lake[/name]
Any other suggestions…I’m running out of time!!

Some more ideas:
[name]Canyon[/name]
[name]Denali[/name]
[name]Zane[/name]
[name]Thane[/name]
[name]Vin[/name] - could be a nn for [name]Vincent[/name]
[name]Stellan[/name] (but my husband says this name sounds too much like Stalin! Plus it’s on the hipster list.)
[name]Jules[/name]
[name]Marek[/name]
[name]Orion[/name]
[name]Carsten[/name]
[name]Bram[/name] - Dutch, could be a nn for [name]Bramwell[/name]
[name]Ivo[/name] - Dutch
[name]Piet[/name] - Dutch
[name]Rune[/name]
[name]Henry[/name] nn [name]Hank[/name]
[name]August[/name] nn [name]Gus[/name]
[name]Bruno[/name]
Teed, is a nn for [name]Theodore[/name], not on this sight, but my husband’s cousin was [name]Theodore[/name] nn Teed.
I know a man named [name]Beauchamp[/name] nn [name]Beach[/name]. You could just go with [name]Beach[/name]. If your son were really cool, he could pull it off.
And then there’s the most strong and different boy name of all: [name]Elvis[/name]
[name]Cash[/name]

Interesting topic! I enjoyed making this list.

I went to highschool with a guy named [name]Tyne[/name] (rhymes with wine)… That’s strong and different!

A few more:

[name]Clay[/name]
[name]Brock[/name]
[name]Dane[/name]
[name]Gage[/name]
[name]Asher[/name]
[name]Ryland[/name]
[name]Ronan[/name]
[name]West[/name]
[name]Cole[/name]
And I love [name]Cash[/name] from Susans list!

[name]Axel[/name]/[name]Aksel[/name] and [name]Viggo[/name] are two of my favorite boys’ names that I think sound tough. :]

[name]Kit[/name] is really cool. Generally, he’s a nickname for [name]Christopher[/name]. I’d go with that, personally!

These Mean Powerful:

[name]Griffith[/name]
[name]Quinlan[/name]

These just make me think strong:

[name]Colt[/name]
[name]Grant[/name]
[name]Harrison[/name] nn [name]Harry[/name]
[name]Atticus[/name]
[name]Lucius[/name] nn [name]Luke[/name]
[name]Atlas[/name]
[name]Phoenix[/name]
[name]Joaquin[/name]
[name]Blair[/name]
[name]Grayson[/name]
[name]Sullivan[/name]
[name]Grove[/name]
[name]Linden[/name]

While I respect your stylistic preferences, I must, however, beg you not to name your son Edge, [name]Steele[/name], or Krew.

There was another post with [name]Lochlan[/name] as a suggestion.

[name]How[/name] about [name]Flynn[/name] or [name]Reid[/name]?

I really like [name]Jett[/name], it is actually on the top of our name list. We are considering [name]Jett[/name] [name]Hudson[/name]… one of my friends said it sounds like an classic hollywood star name. Anyone that I have spoken to and shared the name [name]Jett[/name] - thinks it is strong, masculine and great unique name for a boy.

What about [name]Berlin[/name]? I think it’s ultra, edgy cool!

i like the names kit, brock, and luke

not sure about steele.

my brother’s name is gage and i love it, while my uncle’s name is zane and i’m not too fond of it.

maybe you’d like slate or kye?

me and my hubby are thinking about those.
they’re different and strong…i think you’d like slate if you like steele.

I like [name]Jett[/name], as well as the [name]Gage[/name] suggestion! Very strong but quirky. My brother’s name is [name]Reed[/name], and he gets compliments on it all the time! So that might fit in, too.

I suggested this to someone else but what about “[name]Creed[/name]”? It has what you’re locking for (short, strong male name) but i still sounds classy to me.

Honestly I’m not a fan AT ALL of Krew or [name]Steele[/name].

I also wanted strong and unusual and recently decided on [name_m]Jove[/name_m], which means [name_m]Jupiter[/name_m], Ruler of the [name_u]Sky[/name_u] and all things weather in [name_m]Roman[/name_m] mythology. My little thunder is due on Nov. [name_m]Jove[/name_m] is the root word that Jovial came from, so it’s also positive, happy and friendly. He’ll be born under [name_m]Jupiter[/name_m]'s influence in astrology, which is associated with good luck for babies.

On your current list, I like Edge the best and I also like [name_m]Ridge[/name_m]. I do not like Krew, but [name_u]Cruz[/name_u] is nice. Good luck!
