Needs opinion on names

'[name]Oy[/name]! So, I’m currently writing a story about a hermaphrodite named [name]Andrew[/name] Rumor [name]Salmon[/name]. She’s going to meet some different people through the novel and I’m unsure about some of the name. I’d like to hear others opinion and maybe names there will suit the people better. ^^

[name]Paige[/name] Torain
[name]Claudia[/name] Kron
[name]Caspar[/name] Kron
[name]Christan[/name] Kron
[name]Olivia[/name] Dragon
[name]Liah[/name] [name]James[/name]
[name]Robin[/name] MaCaine

[name]Paige[/name] Torain is interesting.

Is Kron a specific nationality? I’ve never heard it before, and it feels very unusual, especially beside such common names ([name]Claudia[/name] nad [name]Christian[/name]). Maybe [name]Crane[/name]?

Is Dragon an actual surname or some sort of stage name? It’s very literal. Maybe something like [name]Drake[/name]?

[name]Robin[/name] McCaine immediately makes me think of [name]John[/name] McCain. Not sure if that’s the first impression you want to leave. McCormick? McConnell, [name]McCoy[/name]?

[name]Paige[/name] Torain is adopted from South [name]Africa[/name], so when she turned 18 she changed back to her real surname. It was Svensson before.
Nah, I just needed a surname, so I started out by calling them Kron. They are from [name]Sweden[/name], so, Yeah. [name]Crane[/name] is good.

Yes and no, [name]Olivia[/name] is a teacher on a private school, so it could be a “nickname” from her being a roaring beasts. Hehe.

… Who is [name]John[/name] McCaine? I’m a [name]Dane[/name], so that might explain why I don’t know this man. But I just wanted a mixture of an American name and some sort of Irish (?). But McConnell is good!

[name]John[/name] McCain is a US senator ([name]Arizona[/name] or similar) who ran for President in 2008 (?).

Oh … ^^ - I learned something to day

By the way, if the family’s from [name]Sweden[/name] I like Kron. It’s not a common Swedish surname, but there are people who wear it.

I like [name]Paige[/name] Torain… but I like Torraine better. I have never heard Kron before… maybe [name]Caine[/name] or [name]Crane[/name] would work better? I like [name]Claudia[/name], [name]Caspar[/name] and [name]Christian[/name] together. I don’t really like the last name Dragon, how about [name]Drake[/name]? [name]Lia[/name] [name]James[/name] is fine. is MaCaine a real name? I have only seen McCain I think. [name]Robin[/name] is fine.

Thanks, for telling me, I love the sn Kron. :3

Wow, saying it out loud makes the perfect surname! She’s going to br a Torraine then.
I’m not totally fond of C.C initials. And I’m considering [name]Drake[/name], as it is more ‘normal’. I have NO clue, but I Think I’ll go with McConnell. ^^

I feel that [name]Paige[/name] paired with Torain just has two too many ai’s but it works much better with Torraine. I enjoy the last name Kron but I’m not a huge fan with all the people (with their last name as Kron) having C names but I know families like that. [name]Drake[/name] is a stronger sounding last name and flows much better. Another Mcsomething name that I adore is McNamara. Good luck!

I can see what you mean, but I do like it, with their starting with C. But it’s just because they started out with having it. ^^- And their parents did it, because the twin boys was named with C names. Originally [name]Claudia[/name] was an [name]Anna[/name], but they changed their mind.
Yeah, I’ve decided she is going to be a [name]Drake[/name]. ^^. - God dang it, McNamara sounds wonderful with [name]Robin[/name]!

I’d go with something like [name]Paige[/name] Connors, or [name]Paige[/name] McCartney, and the McCartney part is from [name]Paul[/name] McCartney from the Beatles.

okay, so you decided [name]Paige[/name] [name]Drake[/name] for one of the characters, and for the McNamara one, try [name]Robin[/name] McNamara.

No. She is [name]Paige[/name] Torraine and [name]Olivia[/name], is a [name]Drake[/name]. [name]Robin[/name] is a McNamara now. I’d never give [name]Paige[/name] a bane, there Would be Amercian or English.
