Neel Lilis Colorado?

So, in my culture, the name [name_u]Neel[/name_u] means blue. My pseudonym is ‘[name_u]Blue[/name_u]’ and I’d like to incorporate this name in a future child. However, [name_u]Neel[/name_u] is a dominantly male name, and I haven’t really incorporated feminine names into my combo.

I like the combo: [name_u]Neel[/name_u] [name_f]Lilis[/name_f] [name_u]Colorado[/name_u].

[name_u]Neel[/name_u] honors my pseudonym, ‘[name_u]Blue[/name_u]’, as I have stated before. It also honors my [name_f]Indian[/name_f] heritage.

The name [name_f]Lilis[/name_f] is a name that I have liked for a while. It is Greek and sounds like one of my favorite names, ‘[name_f]Lillian[/name_f]’.

The name [name_u]Colorado[/name_u] honors my uncle, who lived in [name_u]Colorado[/name_u] when I was born. I’ve always been partial to this name, and it is one of my honors.

So, my questions are:

What do you think about the combo [name_u]Neel[/name_u] [name_f]Lilis[/name_f] [name_u]Colorado[/name_u]? What imagery do you get from the name?

Thanks in advance!

I’m sorry, but I’m really not a fan. The names are nice enough on their own, but together they sound a bit all over the place.

To be honest, the name reads as masculine to me. I could see [name_u]Neel[/name_u] as a girl’s name but you’re right, it’s usually used as a boy’s. [name_u]Colorado[/name_u] feels masculine, and [name_f]Lilis[/name_f] could pass as a surname imo, which would be my guess since the rest of the combo already reads boy.

I agree with previous posters. Individually these names are fine, but I don’t think they sound harmonious together. I think [name_u]Neel[/name_u] could work for a girl (it reminds me of [name_f]Neelam[/name_f] [name_u]Gill[/name_u]'s name) but I would pair it with a more classically feminine middle name.

These names are interesting!
I like [name_u]Neel[/name_u] [name_u]Colorado[/name_u] or [name_f]Lilis[/name_f] [name_u]Colorado[/name_u].
Have you considered using [name_u]Blue[/name_u]? [name_f]Lilis[/name_f] [name_u]Blue[/name_u]?
