I want to use Lilidh [name]Grace[/name] or [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Rose[/name] but husband is now saying only name he likes is [name]Madeline[/name] ([name]Lynn[/name] prn). I do also love [name]Nell[/name]/[name]Nellie[/name] after my great grandmother, wondering what you all think of [name]Nell[/name] [name]Madeline[/name] as compromise…I’m thinking [name]Madeline[/name] might sound better pronounced w/ [name]Line[/name] ending in this case though. Thoughts/feedback?
Try [name]Elie[/name] [name]Madeline[/name], [name]Nella[/name] [name]Madeline[/name]. [name]Madeline[/name] with a [name]Line[/name] ending is great.
I agree that [name]Nell[/name] [name]MadeLINE[/name] flows better than [name]Nell[/name] [name]MadeLYN[/name].
Are you happy to have her full name as just [name]Nell[/name]?
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Madeline[/name] could go by just [name]Nell[/name] and have a full name for professional purposes if you prefer?
While the first two names listed are lovely, I like the meaning behind [name]Nell[/name] [name]Madeline[/name] and it sounds rather sweet.
Lilidh [name]Grace[/name] is loaded w/ meaning but husband just has no interest. [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Rose[/name] has no meaning, just really like it.
[name]Nell[/name] [name]Madeline[/name] may be a compromise he’ll go for, not sure. Certainly wouldn’t have been my first choice but learning that this naming business has to be all about compromise

I love [name]Nell[/name]! Such a pretty name. It would be on my list if we didn’t have two ladies at church named [name]Nell[/name]. It’s a smallish church. I think it flows fine with either pronunciation of [name]Madeline[/name].
