Which name do you prefer? [name_f]Neve[/name_f] pronounced neev or [name_f]Neva[/name_f] pronounced nee-vah? I also would like some middle name suggestions! So far I have:
On second glance, I actually found [name_f]Neva[/name_f] quite pretty. On first glance I was just like [name_f]Neve[/name_f], all the way! But now…I don’t know. I see your dilemma. I will say, as far as combos go, [name_f]Neva[/name_f] [name_f]Sabine[/name_f] is stunning and by far my favourite!
[name_f]Neva[/name_f] reminds me of the word never, with an accent. My vote goes to [name_f]Neve[/name_f] [name_f]Sabine[/name_f]–[name_f]Neve[/name_f] is a little classier in my opinion, and [name_f]Neve[/name_f] [name_f]Sabine[/name_f] has a beautiful flow.
I like [name_f]Neve[/name_f] because there’s only one way you can pronounce that. [name_f]Neva[/name_f] could be mistaken as nevah, which kind of opens up opportunities for bullying, imo.
I say go with [name_f]Neva[/name_f] its more obvious how to say it. Because I thought [name_f]Neve[/name_f] sounded the way across [name_f]Neve[/name_f] [name_u]Campbell[/name_u] says her name which sounds like [name_u]Nev[/name_u]
[name_f]Neva[/name_f] is beautiful! [name_f]Neve[/name_f] makes me think of [name_u]Nev[/name_u] Schulman, who I’m not the biggest fan of. [name_f]Neva[/name_f] does run the risk of being pronounced as “neh-vuh”, but spelling it as [name_f]Neeva[/name_f] could perhaps eliminate that? [name_f]Neva[/name_f] [name_f]Millie[/name_f] is great, but [name_f]Neva[/name_f] [name_f]Sabine[/name_f] would be nice as well.
I think [name_f]Neve[/name_f] (with a different, longer middle to [name_f]Ida[/name_f]) or [name_f]Neeva[/name_f] - like [name_f]Reeva[/name_f] and means less like to get “Never” as you are likely to with [name_f]Neva[/name_f].
[name_f]Neva[/name_f] has been a sort of GP of mine as a nickname for [name_f]Geneva[/name_f]. I prefer [name_f]Neva[/name_f], as I’ve never liked the abruptness of [name_f]Neve[/name_f].
[name_f]Neve[/name_f] for me! It packs a lot of style into one syllable, and I think feels quite lovely and complete on its own.
If you go with [name_f]Neva[/name_f], I would encourage the [name_f]Neeva[/name_f] spelling so it isn’t (mis)pronounced as “nev-ah” (which sounds like “never” to me).
