Personally I’m not a big fan. For some reason it makes me think of coughing? I do like the similar [name_u]Vesper[/name_u], though, and [name_f]Hesperia[/name_f] is pretty cool.

I like it because I am a big fan of [name_u]Vesper[/name_u].

I like Vesper better for a girl.
Hesper could easily be confused with Hesther or Esther.

Hesper also sounds quite masculine to me, but that’s probably because I love the name Hesperus

I really like it!! It’s similar to Hester and Vesper, both of which are very pretty sounding to me.

Funny, I posted about [name_f]Hespera[/name_f] last week and you said it reminds you of “despair-uh.” Anyway, I love [name_f]Hesper[/name_f] and [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] and [name_f]Hespera[/name_f]. All great names.

I love this name! It’s unique as I’ve never heard anyone with it, also the name has a beautiful meaning! The name kind of reminds me of [name_f]Esther[/name_f] and I think [name_f]Hesper[/name_f] has a great modern feel to it.

I know one! She is in her early 40s, I believe, and she completely rocks this name! Short hair cut (stack, I think it is called) that is always an interesting red color, fun laugh and she gives off a vibe like an older, fun-loving soul. I wouldn’t use the name myself but it is perfect on her. Interestingly enough, she has a friend that she met for the sole reason of them sharing a name!

The name is unique and I think much more wearable than [name_f]Hester[/name_f].

Yes I know, I speak the language. :sunglasses: Was just remarking it was funny. [name_f]Hesper[/name_f] is great, like I said.

I’m in the minority here, but it feels very cold and dark. Just not my style I guess.

I like the sound, but I prefer [name_f]Hester[/name_f]. Although I think [name_f]Hesper[/name_f] is nicer than [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] (Vesper feels a bit too snake-like for me). I wouldn’t use [name_f]Hesper[/name_f] but I think it is quirky and spunky!!
