Right now i have 3 children…
[name]Avery[/name]
[name]Everett[/name]
[name]Olivia[/name]
I have boy/girl twins on the way next month… I am looking for semi-unusual names that start with a vowel. My Last name is [name]Clarke[/name] so the babies names must sound good with that and with my other kids names . Thank you for the suggestions and what do think of my choices of names.
thanks again
from [name]Meri[/name] [name]Clarke[/name]
Girls
[name]Camden[/name]
[name]Fiona[/name] - “f” is very similar to “v”.
[name]Genevieve[/name]
[name]Ivy[/name]
[name]Keira[/name]
[name]Lilou[/name]
[name]Maeve[/name]
[name]Rowena[/name]
[name]Sylvie[/name]
[name]Vivian[/name]
Boys
[name]Calvin[/name]
[name]Finnian[/name] nn [name]Finn[/name]
[name]Harvey[/name]
[name]Lachlan[/name]
[name]Miles[/name]
[name]Reed[/name]
[name]Sebastian[/name]
[name]Trevor[/name]
[name]Victor[/name]
[name]Avery[/name], [name]Everett[/name], and [name]Olivia[/name] are all English names beginning with vowels, as you mentioned. They also all have a V sound in them. I thought it would be cute to use the other remaining vowels - you have A, E, and O, so that leaves I and U!
So, here are my suggestions:
GIRL
[name]Ivy[/name] - My absolute favorite to go with your kids’ names!
[name]Imogen[/name]
[name]Irisa[/name]
BOY
[name]Irving[/name]
So, it turns out there were no good U names originating from English, so I had to broaden the search. Is it okay for their names to start with the same letter?
[name]Alvin[/name]
[name]Elvin[/name]
[name]Elvis[/name] - Probably not a good choice…
[name]Ervin[/name]
[name]Everard[/name]
[name]Everly[/name]
Evers
[name]Octavius[/name]
[name]Oliver[/name] - Not with [name]Olivia[/name].
[name]Orville[/name]
[name]Ovid[/name]
Or, a boy could be [name]Abbott[/name], [name]Alden[/name], [name]Anderson[/name], [name]Archer[/name], [name]August[/name], [name]Edison[/name], [name]Elliott[/name], [name]Emerson[/name], or [name]Orsen[/name]…
[name]Levi[/name] and [name]Genevieve[/name]
[name]Victor[/name] and [name]Ivy[/name]
[name]Vincent[/name] and [name]Evangeline[/name]
[name]Violet[/name] and [name]Evan[/name]
[name]Sylvie[/name] and [name]Levi[/name]
[name]Maeva[/name] and [name]Clive[/name]
It seems like it would be hard to find a boy and girl name that both starts with a vowel and contains a v. Girls are easier with [name]Ivy[/name], [name]Eve[/name], [name]Ava[/name] and [name]Evelyn[/name] but the boys names I can think of ([name]Ivan[/name], [name]Evan[/name]) are too similar to the girl twin or other siblings. I think you’ll have great choices with one or the other criteria.
For starting with a vowel (which I think was your original criterion):
[name]Isla[/name]
[name]Amelia[/name] - has [name]Olivia[/name]'s ending though
[name]Emily[/name]/[name]Emma[/name]
[name]Audrey[/name]
[name]Abigail[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name]
[name]Alice[/name]
[name]Adele[/name]
[name]Ella[/name]
[name]Meri[/name] [name]Clarke[/name] again thank you for all the responses… we are deeply thinking about these 2 names.
[name]Ivy[/name] and [name]Owen[/name].
But now we are looking for middle names your help is appreciated and we are excited to welcome 2 newborns next month… along with [name]Avery[/name],[name]Everett[/name],and [name]Olivia[/name]. Thanks again… The [name]Clarke[/name] Family.
