[name_f]My[/name_f] current name crush is [name_m]Phillip[/name_m]. However, I strongly dislike [name_u]Phil[/name_u]…any other nickname suggestions or should I move on from this crush??
I quite like [name_m]Phillip[/name_m]! It’s a great classic. With that said I despise [name_u]Phil[/name_u]. It just takes something romantic and prince charming about it away. I myself would skip the non but if I had to chose I would go with [name_m]Pip[/name_m] when he was little and then move into the full name BC I don’t think [name_m]Pip[/name_m] works on a man at least not here in [name_u]America[/name_u].

I love [name_m]Phillip[/name_m]! [name_u]Love[/name_u] it, love it, love it. In fact, when I was a teenager, I used to name almost anything [name_m]Phillip[/name_m]. (For instance, my car is named [name_m]Phillip[/name_m].) But, like you, I think that [name_u]Phil[/name_u] is the worst nickname ever. As said above, it takes the “[name_m]Prince[/name_m] Charming” aspect of the name out. It’s such a regal name. Honestly, I don’t think [name_m]Phillip[/name_m] would need a nickname, but if you wanted one, I would use [name_m]Pip[/name_m].
I agree that [name_u]Phil[/name_u] is bad… but I love [name_m]Pip[/name_m], and also [name_u]Flip[/name_u] (I recall someone suggesting that a long time ago). It is a nice name : )
I love [name_m]Philip[/name_m]! I also hate [name_u]Phil[/name_u] as a nn. I personally don’t think it needs a nn since it’s only 2 syllables. But if you wanted to use one I do think [name_m]Pip[/name_m] or [name_u]Flip[/name_u] is very cute.

[name_m]Philip[/name_m] is so handsome! I met a little [name_m]Philip[/name_m] who went by [name_m]Pierce[/name_m]…it’s a bit of a stretch but it could work.
[name_m]Pip[/name_m] and [name_u]Flip[/name_u] are both cute. I could see a grown man named [name_u]Flip[/name_u], but not [name_m]Pip[/name_m].
[name_m]Phillip[/name_m] is one of my faves, and I don’t think it really needs a nickname; it’s very handsome on its own
[name_m]How[/name_m] funny! [name_m]Philip[/name_m] has been growing on me a lot lately too. So not part of my “style” but I just love it. I wouldn’t use any nickname for it personally.
I also love [name_m]Phillip[/name_m] but despise [name_u]Phil[/name_u]. I agree that [name_m]Pip[/name_m] and [name_u]Flip[/name_u] could work as nn’s.
