[name]Just[/name] found out we are going to be new parents (again) via adoption!
We currently have a 9 year old son ([name]Keaton[/name] [name]Anthony[/name]) and an 8 year old daughter ([name]Jamieson[/name] [name]Marie[/name]).
Our new little one will be the total opposite of my blonde-haired blue-eyed babies, with beautiful dark hair and eyes.
Now, the panic sets in over her name :o !
These are a few of the names we have been kicking around until we meet her and one fits:
You went with a unisex surname for your eldest daughter, so I feel that [name]Charlotte[/name], as lovely a name as it is, doesn’t really work with this sibset.
I think the other names work, though I’d choose to give your new daughter a middle all her own. It’s tricky choosing without knowing your surname, but here are my thoughts on [name]Keaton[/name], [name]Jamieson[/name] and…
[name]Brennan[/name]…the repetition of the ‘un’ sound at the end of all three is too much for me
[name]Harper[/name]…nice…my choice from your list
[name]Finley[/name]…something about this name I can’t warm up to…maybe it sound like finicky?
[name]Rowan[/name]…echoing end sounds again
[name]Lennon[/name]…and again, but if this does’t bother you, I am a fan of [name]Lennon[/name], though it leans male for me
Out of your choices I like [name]Brennan[/name], [name]Rowan[/name] and [name]Lennon[/name]. This way all three names share the -n ending. [name]Lennon[/name] is my personal favourite.
[name]Lennon[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is nice if that middle name has meaning to you, other middle names to go with [name]Lennon[/name] could be [name]Ruby[/name], [name]Stella[/name] or anything that gives it a bit of girly flair!
If you don’t care if the names endings “match” then I like [name]Harper[/name] also.
Some other suggestions:
[name]Ramona[/name]
[name]Piper[/name]
[name]Adeline[/name]
[name]Paisley[/name]
[name]Quinlin[/name]
[name]Tatum[/name]
[name]Sloane[/name]
[name]Blair[/name]
Congratulations! very exciting Have you been waiting long? if you dont mind my asking
I love [name]Rowan[/name], [name]Lennon[/name] and [name]Harper[/name], I think [name]Harper[/name] stands out the most, fits in with the other kids but still different.
It was a surprise, we have been hoping and praying that it would work out in our favor, you never know when it comes to a mother’s choice
We are hoping to bring her home tonight.
The meaning in the middle names is “[name]Mary[/name]” as my husband prayed/prays to [name]Jesus[/name]’ Mother [name]Mary[/name] to guide him during this time and every day. His favorite saying is “what [name]Mary[/name] wants, will be what we want and accept”.
“[name]Grace[/name]” is also religious, as in “by the [name]Grace[/name] of God is what will be”.
[name]Marie[/name] is my middle name, as well as my husband’s oldest daughter [name]Meghan[/name] [name]Marie[/name], and our daughter, [name]Jamieson[/name] [name]Marie[/name].
We are currently leaning towards [name]Brennan[/name] and [name]Harper[/name], as we do like the unisex names, with a girly middle name
Congrats on your adoption and new daughter! I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Harper[/name] [name]Mary[/name] [name]Grace[/name] and [name]Finley[/name] [name]Grace[/name] and our reasons for your middle name choices (is there a reason why you left off [name]Mary[/name] from [name]Finley[/name] here? I like [name]Finley[/name] [name]Mary[/name] [name]Grace[/name] as well, despite the double “y” endings on [name]Finley[/name] and [name]Mary[/name].) I think [name]Harper[/name] and [name]Finley[/name] go best with your other kids’ names. [name]Brennan[/name] is just a bit too set in masculinity for me. If I saw [name]Keaton[/name], [name]Jamieson[/name], and [name]Brennan[/name], I’d think you had two boys and one girl. [name]Harper[/name] and [name]Finley[/name] are either-or boy-girl to me.
With a sister named [name]Jamieson[/name] I would stick with something unisex, but not overly masculine like [name]Brennan[/name] or [name]Lennon[/name], those names are all boy to me. I like [name]Finley[/name] [name]Grace[/name] the most of your combos. I also like [name]Harper[/name] and [name]Rowan[/name] (even though it ends with an n like [name]Jamieson[/name] but that may not be an issue to you).
my favorites are [name]Harper[/name], and [name]Rowan[/name], but I think [name]Harper[/name] fits best with the sibset. l love the name [name]Harper[/name]!
