New Book: Hell in Heels (temporary title)

So basically, this book is about a girl who’s father is an angel and mother is a succubus. She has to choose which side of her self to become by her seventeenth birthday (she’s 16). She kind of has like this internal struggle the whole time with which side to be. This Wiccan family moves in to town and the boy who is her age guesses what she is. And that’s all I’ve got so far. [name]Do[/name] you like the names for the main characters?

[name]Eryn[/name] [name]Dara[/name] Rhiamon
Age: 16
Hair: [name]Black[/name]
Eyes: blue
Okay, before you say anything about the name [name]Eryn[/name] you need to know that it is not a creative (mis) spelling of [name]Erin[/name]. It is Scottish/Gaelic/Welsh.

[name]Terran[/name] [name]Ash[/name] Bláth
Age: 16
Hair: [name]Brown[/name]
Eyes: [name]Green[/name]

I know, I know, the surnames are a little… out there.

[name]Eryn[/name] and [name]Terran[/name] as main character’s are way too rhymey.

[name]Eryn[/name] and [name]Tyler[/name] would be better.

Yeah, I agree [name]Eryn[/name] and [name]Terran[/name] basically rhyme. I’d definitely change one - [name]Terry[/name] or [name]Terence[/name] are very close to [name]Terran[/name], or even use [name]Terran[/name] as his surname and move [name]Ash[/name] ([name]Ashley[/name], [name]Asher[/name], [name]Ashton[/name]) to be his first name.

The names are alright… the one big problem I have is about the name [name]Dara[/name]. I don’t know, it could be a girl name, but the only [name]Dara[/name]'s I now, and I know three, are all males.

I like the name [name]Eryn[/name], and you can always use the name [name]Marie[/name] for the middle name, and for the guy, [name]Terran[/name] is a good name, but it sounds like [name]Eryn[/name], so maybe you can name him [name]Alexander[/name] nn [name]Alex[/name]. You can also do [name]Terrence[/name] nn [name]Terry[/name].

[name]Eryn[/name] definitely isn’t an Irish spelling of [name]Erin[/name], by the way, and [name]Erin[/name] is an anglicised Irish word so I think it is a creative spelling unless the Welsh have an eerily similar word for [name]Ireland[/name]. Also, [name]Dara[/name] is used most of the time as a boys name.
[name]Terran[/name] and [name]Eryn[/name] sound a bit too similar for main characters.
