[name]Margaret[/name] [name]Aoife[/name] ([name]Greta[/name]) - I adore [name]Margaret[/name] nn [name]Greta[/name], I definitely think both are terribly underused! [name]Aoife[/name] completes the combo nicely
it’s one of my favourite Irish names.
[name]Sylvie[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] - I prefer [name]Sylvia[/name] nn [name]Sylvie[/name], but I do feel like [name]Sylvie[/name] is more unexpected and also lovely. [name]Evangeline[/name]'s not my style, but I love it here! I picture an ethereal, angelic girl when I read the name.
[name]Dorothy[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] ([name]Dot[/name]) - [name]Dorothy[/name]'s not my style, but one of those names I love to see! I have a thing for ‘vintage’. Middle names are gorgeous, and the nickname is so sweet. My only concern would be the association with [name]Dot[/name] from Eastenders.
[name]Marina[/name] [name]Rosemary[/name] - [name]Marina[/name] reminds me of [name]Marina[/name] and the Diamonds, but I still love it. I see it as more spunky, and wouldn’t have put it with the more subdued [name]Rosemary[/name] myself, but I think they work wonderfully together.
[name]Iris[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Mary[/name] - Simply gorgeous, I don’t have a bad word to say about it! I’ve always liked half-alliterative combos, as in the repetitive ‘m’ sounds in [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Mary[/name], so I love this.
[name]Vana[/name] [name]Primrose[/name] - I’ve never heard of [name]Vana[/name] before, what’s it’s origins? Feels eastern-European to me, but I could easily be wrong. I love [name]Primrose[/name], and I think [name]Vana[/name] is a lovely compliment to it. This combo is a little like [name]Marina[/name] [name]Rosemary[/name] to me - “edgy” meets classic.
Overall, adore your girls list! You have amazing taste
[name]Alec[/name] [name]Franklin[/name] - Not my style, but certainly not a horrible combo. It’s very strong, and unusual. [name]Alec[/name] has always sounded incomplete to me, and while I like [name]Franklin[/name] I hate [name]Frank[/name] so I have mixed feelings. But as I said, it’s quite handsome.
[name]Nicholas[/name] [name]Oisin[/name] ([name]Nico[/name]) - Again, not my style, but still lovely. I used to like [name]Nicholas[/name] nn [name]Klaus[/name], but gradually lost interest in it. I still love [name]Klaus[/name] though. And [name]Oisin[/name] is so cute, it reminds me of birds too (because of the French word ‘oiseau’ meaning 'bird).
[name]Atticus[/name] [name]Jack[/name] - [name]Atticus[/name] is amazing, not just in sound but in literary connections! I love it paired with the more common, masculine [name]Jack[/name]. I can imagine a little boy with this name!
[name]Barnaby[/name] [name]Gideon[/name] [name]Alec[/name] - while [name]Barnaby[/name]/[name]Barney[/name] has never been my style, it’s oh so adorable
reminds me of a little teddy bear or something. I adore [name]Gideon[/name] though, very strong!
[name]Leopold[/name] [name]Alec[/name] ([name]Leo[/name]) - words cannot describe my adoration for [name]Leo[/name]! It was #1 on my list, until I recently decided it was just too common. Though not my style, [name]Leopold[/name] is such a great way to get to [name]Leo[/name].
[name]Even[/name] though my style is completely different to yours here, I still think you have awesome boys combos!
