New Combos - Thoughts?

I’ve done a complete overhaul of my name list recently, and as part of reworking my list, I’ve come up with some new combination ideas.

What I love about the current first names on my list, is that they feel very versatile to me - I can picture them on a girly girl, a tomboy, and anything inbetween, which is something that S/O and I want in a name for a future daughter.

With middle names, I’ve been trying to use older/previous favourites of mine, that perhaps don’t fit the first name criteria we have/want.

What are your thoughts on this list of combinations? Our LN sounds identical to “rooster”.

I know it’s a long list, but I really appreciate any feedback on these combinations.

Thank you

I like [name_u]Aspen[/name_u] [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_f]Bluebell[/name_f], [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f], [name_u]Reese[/name_u] [name_f]Alexandria[/name_f] and [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f]! I especially like [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f], it just sounds so lush and beautiful.

What about [name_f]Aubree[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f], [name_u]Briley[/name_u] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], and [name_u]Reese[/name_u] [name_f]Alexandria[/name_f]?

You have so many lovely combos!

My favourites are: [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_f]Bluebell[/name_f], [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] [name_f]Sarah[/name_f], [name_f]Kinsey[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], [name_u]Paisley[/name_u] [name_f]Emma[/name_f], [name_u]Riley[/name_u] [name_f]Ava[/name_f] (other spellings are fine, but this one is my favourite), [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] and [name_f]Tinsley[/name_f] [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f].

There are a few that are simply nms but are perfectly fine names. My main things are that I worry with names like [name_u]Reese[/name_u] and [name_u]Riley[/name_u] that with your surname it gets a little too rhyme-y. Also I adore the name [name_u]Aspen[/name_u] but firstly I prefer it for a boy in general, but also I worry about it on any gender child because there is just so much teasing potential - ‘[name_u]Aspen[/name_u] is’ gets blocked by some auto-filter sites because ‘pen is’ gets read as one word, and ‘[name_u]Aspen[/name_u] is’ could so easily be teased as Ass penis. Usually ‘obvious’ teases don’t bother me so much, but this one always gets to me.

My favorites are [name_u]Bristol[/name_u] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] and [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f]. I think [name_u]Bristol[/name_u] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] is especially fabulous in that it is underused and unexpected without sounding made-up, and it is subtly feminine without being frilly. It strikes me as exactly the versatile kind of name you are seeking.

Thank you!

I really like Aubree Lillian, actually! Thank you!

Thank you! I do worry a little that Reese and Riley/Ryleigh/Rylee/Rylie rhyme a little too much with our surname, but S/O pointed out that a few relatives on both sides of our families also have alliterative names, which makes me a little bit less concerned there.

The teasing potential with Aspen is one thing that has held me back from wanting to use it before, however I’m not sure entirely how bad it’d be in reality. It’s definitely something to think about though.

Thank you! I’m so happy Bristol Katherine hits that balance well, as it’s one of my personal favourites!

The ones that stood out to me were [name_u]Aspen[/name_u] [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f], and [name_u]Reese[/name_u] [name_f]Alexandria[/name_f]. I’m a sucker for old lady names so that might have something to do with it :). I also like that each of these have one name with three syllables - that lends a nice cadence. Particular love for [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] and [name_u]Aspen[/name_u] as names in general; like you said, very versatile.

[name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_f]Bluebell[/name_f], [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f], & [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] are my favorites!

My favorites are:

[name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_f]Bluebell[/name_f]
[name_u]Bristol[/name_u] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]
[name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]
[name_f]Lauren[/name_f] [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f]
[name_u]Mckinley[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_u]Peyton[/name_u] [name_f]Ella[/name_f]
[name_u]Riley[/name_u] [name_f]Ava[/name_f]/[name_u]Rylie[/name_u] [name_f]Ava[/name_f] (I like these two spellings the best)
[name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f]

My fave on your list is definitely [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f]. It’s just got such a cool look and sound. I really like [name_u]Bristol[/name_u] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] as well. I actually know someone with that exact name but flipped backwards! It sounds very sleek to me.

My favorites are [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], [name_f]Aubree[/name_f] [name_f]Madeline[/name_f], and [name_f]Emersyn[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] (I prefer the traditional spellings on those though). I also like [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] from pp.

Comments:
[name_u]Aspen[/name_u] [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] – I like [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] but maybe it is too many consonants with [name_u]Aspen[/name_u]?
Jersie [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] – love [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], but not sure Jersie works as a name. People have negative associations with [name_m]New[/name_m] [name_u]Jersey[/name_u] and [name_u]Jersey[/name_u] cows. Some other ideas are [name_f]Darcie[/name_f], [name_f]Marci[/name_f], and [name_f]Mercy[/name_f]
[name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] – I don’t love that it’s two cities. Sounds more like a place than a name.
[name_f]Lauren[/name_f] [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] – I like [name_f]Lauren[/name_f], but with [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] it feels very 1980s.
[name_f]Kinsey[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] – Pretty but I think [name_f]Kinsey[/name_f] is too associated with the [name_f]Kinsey[/name_f] Institute. [name_u]Lindsay[/name_u] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] would be pretty, or maybe [name_f]Kinsley[/name_f] or [name_u]Kenzie[/name_u].
[name_u]Riley[/name_u] [name_f]Ava[/name_f] – these are both super popular so I would prefer them paired with something more unusual

[name_u]Lindsay[/name_u] [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]
[name_u]Tegan[/name_u] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]
[name_u]Waverly[/name_u] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]

I love [name_u]Aspen[/name_u] [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], [name_f]Aubree[/name_f] [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] (Although I prefer [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] to [name_f]Aubree[/name_f], this is stunning!), [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_f]Bluebell[/name_f], [name_f]Cambrie[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] (I’m biased because my 2nd fav girls name is [name_u]Hadley[/name_u]. Also [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] would be gorgeous too!) [name_u]Reese[/name_u] [name_f]Alexandria[/name_f] and [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] (Usually I’m not a fan of [name_f]Savannah[/name_f], since it’s beautiful but kinda popular, but this combo is amazing).

I think [name_u]Bristol[/name_u] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f], [name_f]Bryleigh[/name_f] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], [name_f]Charleigh[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] (Prefer [name_u]Charlie[/name_u], though), [name_f]Emersyn[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] (Same here, I like [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] more), [name_f]Harleigh[/name_f] [name_f]Jessica[/name_f] (Omg I’m keep saying my fav spelling, and here I prefer [name_u]Harley[/name_u] too), [name_f]Nevaeh[/name_f] [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] (Ok I know the majority of nameberry doesn’t like this name but I really love its sound and the backword of [name_f]Heaven[/name_f] looks okay to me since I’m not related to any religion… trying to justify the reason why I like [name_f]Nevaeh[/name_f] And I’d prefer other mns for [name_f]Nevaeh[/name_f]), [name_u]Paisley[/name_u] [name_f]Emma[/name_f], [name_u]Peyton[/name_u] [name_f]Ella[/name_f] and [name_u]Riley[/name_u]/[name_u]Rylee[/name_u]/Rayleigh [name_f]Ava[/name_f] (Would do some less popular names that [name_f]Ava[/name_f]) are lovely!

Sorry, not a fan of Jersie [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] since Jersie reminds me of [name_m]New[/name_m] [name_u]Jersey[/name_u] , [name_f]Journee[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f], [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] - I usually love unisex names on girls but somehow [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] sounds too unpretty and masculine to me, sorry, [name_f]Kinsey[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] - would love ([name_m]Mac[/name_m])[name_u]Kenzie[/name_u] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], Landrie [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - Sorry Landrie reminds me of Laundryㅠㅠ, [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] - Both names are lovely although I think they were too popular, [name_u]McKinley[/name_u](Maybe [name_f]Makayla[/name_f]?) [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_u]Reagan[/name_u] [name_f]Laura[/name_f] and [name_f]Tinsley[/name_f] [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] ([name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Kinsley[/name_f] instead?)

This reply is long! But you have to excuse me because I love your combos, haha

From your list, my favorites are [name_f]Charleigh[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u], [name_f]Emersyn[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_f]Journee[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] and [name_f]Tinsley[/name_f] [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f].

My favorite is [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] - it has a nice flow with your last name and seems to fit well with your overall naming style.

There are the names I like with some modifications and switches.

[name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
