Uncensored warning that this character is dead, but is very immoral and his death is not a tragedy. (This is the 7th dead character I’ve created. I’m starting to think I have the most dead characters, or at least the most dead male characters because I know Sophiesawriter has the most dead female characters.)
[name_u]Henri[/name_u] [name_m]Jéan[/name_m] Boisclair (3 [name_u]January[/name_u] 1943 - 3 [name_u]January[/name_u] 2018, aged 75) was Pierre’s equally-incompetent father, although the two were on much more leveled amounts of immorality, with neither having any innocence or redemption. [name_u]Henri[/name_u] lived in [name_f]Canada[/name_f] and had two children, [name_m]Pierre[/name_m] being one of them. [name_u]Henri[/name_u] always seemed to favour [name_m]Pierre[/name_m] due to his constant skill growing up and had no realisation when [name_m]Pierre[/name_m] lost his skill to start doing bad things. [name_u]Henri[/name_u] always acted as if [name_m]Pierre[/name_m] was always skilled and “perfect” and yelled at anyone trying to say otherwise about him. He often compared his two children and [name_m]Pierre[/name_m] was always put in the best light, no matter how high the bias was to put him in that light. He didn’t care for Pierre’s ex-wife and found her “inferior” to [name_m]Pierre[/name_m] but only wished them well on their marriage because [name_m]Pierre[/name_m] insisted she was the one for him. [name_u]Henri[/name_u] knew [name_m]Pierre[/name_m] cheated on her with [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] but he didn’t care and actually felt like she “deserved it” for not being “good enough” for him.
[name_u]Truth[/name_u] is, even before [name_u]Henri[/name_u] became a father, he was immoral. He faked his way into business school and used credentials he didn’t have. He liked scamming people out of money by using fake names to do it. When he knew people would catch on for him using identities that didn’t exist, he’d steal existing identities to commit scams and fraud. He worked at a bank and was cruel to his co-workers, believing he could treat anyone however he wanted and if he felt someone was “inferior” to him (or Pierre) that he’d make sure they knew he felt that from them. He’d modestly deny that he was a biased and prejudiced individual and would always publicly praise them and make it look “obvious that he wasn’t oppressing anyone”. He also tried to get into politics but thankfully did not win any positions after allegations spread he was rigging it. [name_u]Henri[/name_u] gave up on politics, which is something [name_f]Liliane[/name_f] is grateful for, even though she didn’t live in the same country as him. Henri’s other child and family were grateful as well although at this point Henri’s other child stopped contacting him and has since had children who have hardly ever met him in person.
While [name_u]Henri[/name_u] was rich and successful, he had a fatal flaw with his narcissism — literally. He always believed he would live to 100 despite no known ancestors making it to 90. [name_u]Henri[/name_u] had such a mentality that he was special enough to break that mould and be the first in his family, despite not doing any changes to his health. [name_u]Henri[/name_u] was used to being the one who always thought he was born superior. He paid attention to nothing about history but always acted like he knew more than [name_f]Liliane[/name_f], who was a history bookworm. He tried to make everyone believe him and some people actually did at first, seeing as [name_u]Henri[/name_u] was much older. However [name_f]Liliane[/name_f] was able to prove otherwise and [name_u]Henri[/name_u] insulted anyone who believed he wasn’t the smartest person in his family. Truthfully Liliane’s mother didn’t like [name_u]Henri[/name_u] and knew he wouldn’t try to improve his relationship with her as he was too set on his opinions to change himself. She only talked to him on the phone when [name_m]Pierre[/name_m] forced her to or when he forced her himself, but she had no plans to visit him in person even before she divorced [name_m]Pierre[/name_m]. In fact while [name_u]Henri[/name_u] wanted to still contact Liliane’s mother, he had completely abandoned [name_f]Liliane[/name_f] as a granddaughter, wanting to have no association with any family members he feared to be “smarter than him” and figured it was best for him to pretend [name_f]Liliane[/name_f] “wasn’t family” to validate his ego. This angered her that [name_u]Henri[/name_u] would abandon his own granddaughter and her own daughter but he didn’t have any remorse. [name_u]Henri[/name_u] had a history of heart problems but never cared enough because he felt like something serious like this could “never happen to him”. He was dead wrong — he died of a heart attack on his 75th birthday. Although he had died on his own birthday, nobody other than [name_m]Pierre[/name_m] considered his death a tragedy and [name_u]Henri[/name_u] didn’t even have a funeral. [name_u]Truth[/name_u] is, it was per his wishes as [name_u]Henri[/name_u] had always said he didn’t want one, likely because he didn’t want any “inferior” people to show up, or worse — because people hated him so much that nobody other than [name_m]Pierre[/name_m] would attend and even with his narcissism, [name_u]Henri[/name_u] knew this. [name_u]Henri[/name_u] gave all his inheritance to [name_m]Pierre[/name_m] only, but in the four years since Henri’s death, it was gambled and drunken away just like Pierre’s fame profits. [name_f]Liliane[/name_f] and her mother hardly speak of [name_u]Henri[/name_u] and they know Henri’s death has made [name_m]Pierre[/name_m] much more negative but deep down, they don’t feel bad for either man. They barely even have memories since he always disassociated with them and any memories they did have were negative. They have since tried to contact Henri’s other child and the children of said “inferior child”, who are Liliane’s cousins. [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] and Pierre’s child are interested in [name_f]Liliane[/name_f] but while [name_u]Henri[/name_u] was alive, he didn’t want them to associate because [name_u]Henri[/name_u] irrationally hated [name_f]Liliane[/name_f]. However [name_u]Henri[/name_u] is dead and the decision is no longer in his hands.
