Aleksander Dong “Sasha” Kwon (12) is Ewelina’s son. Sasha is very witty and intelligent . He is very protective of his sisters (especially Kitty) and doesn’t want them to succumb to peer pressure and start drinking or doing drugs. Sasha was spooked by his health class teacher and Hazel and Cassias mother and doesn’t want that happening to anyone in the family. At school some kids call Sasha a goody two shoes because he is afraid of getting in trouble which has made Sasha frustrated. He doesn’t want to tell his dad because he knows that if he did he would be called a “Tattle Tale”. Sasha admits that he can be a bit pushy and a know it all but us annoyed his so called “friends” would tell him that, Sasha is only friends with them because they also play soccer and none of his close friends do. He is on the town’s travel soccer team and on the middle school team too. Sasha also enjoys building complicated Lego sets and is working on R2D2 with his best friends. When he grows up Sasha wants to be an engineer or work as a movie producer or as an architect . Sasha is very passionate about cinema and loves watching older films, he really likes the original Star Wars movie and Zoro and wants to make timeless movies like that.
Sasha has also recently started learning polish (per a request of his) which he has found fun but rewarding. He feels that having learned Latin Conjugation has helped him understand the language more and has made it easier to understand all the parts. Sasha has also grown closer to his heritage and has accompanied his mom to the polish deli to explore. Sasha has been wanting to ask his father about his heritage but wants to first focus on being polish.
