What does everyone think of this name? Middle name would be something along the lines of [name]Cora[/name] or a variant of [name]Cora[/name].

I love [name]Emilia[/name] but I crossed it off my list early on in my pregnancy with #1 because whenever I mentioned it to people, they thought I’d said [name]Amelia[/name]. It could just be my accent though.
I love it - but I agree with the above: everyone would just assume you said [name]Amelia[/name] and you and your daughter would constantly be correcting people on the spelling. If you don’t mind, that’s one thing - I do think it’s such a gorgeous name. But it could get annoying, people always getting the name wrong.
I don’t love [name]Emilia[/name] [name]Cora[/name], but [name]Emilia[/name] [name]Coraline[/name] is gorgeous!!

I think it’s beautiful. It’s an established name and spelling but I think people would confuse it with [name]Amelia[/name] and think it was a creative spelling. I had it on some of my lists when I was naming my daughters and many people told me this. But it’s in [name]Shakespeare[/name] and I think it’s lovely. But the [name]Amelia[/name]/[name]Emilia[/name] confusion might be a bit of a nuisance - especially since [name]Amelia[/name] is a popular name.
I really like it. Where I live nobody would assume it was a creative spelling or made up, because [name]Emile[/name]/[name]Emilia[/name] aren’t as uncommon here. It does sound very similar to [name]Amelia[/name].
