I’m quite obsessed with the name [name]Gabriel[/name] lately–I just can’t get it out of my head! I love the connection to the angel, and it just sounds so striking to me. WDYT of it? Out of my favorites ([name]Caleb[/name], [name]Everett[/name], [name]Asher[/name], [name]Jack[/name], [name]Grayson[/name], [name]Brody[/name], [name]Spencer[/name], [name]Bailey[/name], [name]Avery[/name], and [name]Boone[/name]), which do you think would work best as his brothers?
Any MN ideas? I used to love [name]Gabriel[/name] [name]Evan[/name], but I’m not really in love with [name]Evan[/name] anymore.
Ahhh. I got so excited with this! I love [name]Gabriel[/name] too! I was concerned for a while that it’d be too close to [name]Nathaniel[/name] to use, but berries on here said it was fine, so I feel much better.
I think [name]Gabriel[/name], [name]Caleb[/name], [name]Grayson[/name], [name]Spencer[/name] and [name]Avery[/name] all work tremendously well.
I like [name]Gabriel[/name] [name]Evan[/name], but I to am waiving on my [name]Evan[/name] love. It’s on my list, but I think I’m going to remove it.
I really like [name]Gabriel[/name] on someone else’s child I like [name]Gabriel[/name] and [name]Asher[/name] together and also [name]Gabriel[/name] and [name]Caleb[/name].
I am attached to [name]Gabriel[/name] [name]Joseph[/name] so to me that is the best combo out there bahaha! I really like it with a [name]Jo[/name]- MN. [name]Gabriel[/name] [name]Jonas[/name] or [name]Gabriel[/name] [name]Joel[/name] could be nice. The only other combo I ever really considered was [name]Gabriel[/name] [name]Isaac[/name] which I think could definitely fit your style.
I love [name]Gabriel[/name] - it’s been at the top of my list for a while. Funnily enough [name]Evan[/name] is up there too! I think [name]Asher[/name] sounds good with [name]Gabriel[/name], they are both soft, biblical names. Some middle names that work with [name]Gabriel[/name]:
[name]Gabriel[/name] and [name]Asher[/name] sound like brothers to me. As soon as I saw [name]Gabriel[/name], that was my thought. I also think [name]Gabriel[/name] [name]Asher[/name] (as a first and middle) sound phenomenal!
[name]Gabriel[/name] is a nice name. [name]Asher[/name] makes a good brother. [name]Caleb[/name] also would work. A lot of your other favorites would work well with each other as a sibset (i.e., [name]Spencer[/name], [name]Avery[/name] & [name]Bailey[/name]) but don’t seem to mesh with [name]Gabriel[/name] imo.
Some other options to go with [name]Gabriel[/name]
[name]Ah[/name], I’m so excited to see that you are loving [name]Gabriel[/name]! I think it fits perfectly on your list.
My favourite potential sibset would be; [name]Caleb[/name], [name]Everett[/name], [name]Gabriel[/name] & [name]Asher[/name] - I think [name]Spencer[/name] would fit nicely in there too.
[name]Gabriel[/name] [name]Evander[/name]? (instead of just [name]Evan[/name])
I like [name]Gabriel[/name]…I don’t [name]LOVE[/name] it. But I do think it fits right in with your other names, I’m actually surprised that it hasn’t been on your list. I think the reason I don’t [name]LOVE[/name] it is because I don’t like the nn [name]Gabe[/name] very much.
ETA: I forgot to say…I think Gabriel and Grayson are very similar though. I like Gabriel better than Grayson…and I think Gabriel goes better with the other boy names. I noticed that on your signature Asher doesn’t have a two mn combo…suggesting…Asher Grayson Patrick…or Asher Patrick Grayson.
lol. Well, when I first joined my first name site (which was PC), [name]Gabriel[/name] [name]Evan[/name] was at the tippy top of my list. [name]Gabriel[/name] [name]Evan[/name] and [name]Josiah[/name] [name]Christopher[/name] were probably tied for my top two names. And then for some reason, I went off of it, and completely hated it for a few years, and then I liked it quite a bit as a MN, but now I’m back to liking it a lot as a FN. I think it goes really well with my girls’ names, like [name]Isabelle[/name] and [name]Olivia[/name] especially. [name]Even[/name] [name]Violet[/name], [name]Rachel[/name], [name]Arianne[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Liliana[/name], etc.
As for [name]Grayson[/name] and [name]Asher[/name]–lol, yes, I still do need a second MN for [name]Asher[/name]. I’m not even sure it’ll be [name]Asher[/name] [name]Patrick[/name] anymore, although I still do love it. I have a running two-page document in Word, trying to find the perfect combo, and while I like a lot of them, none of them seem to be “it”. [name]Hence[/name], just [name]Asher[/name] [name]Patrick[/name] for now, lol. I don’t think I would do [name]Asher[/name] [name]Grayson[/name] [name]Patrick[/name]/[name]Asher[/name] [name]Patrick[/name] [name]Grayson[/name], though, as my surname is also two syllables and it sounds so bad to me. [name]Grayson[/name] is fairly set as a FN because I love its surnamey vibe and my grandmother’s mn is [name]Grace[/name], so I like that it’d honor her pretty obviously.
Thanks for all the ideas, ladies! I’m not sure [name]Gabriel[/name] will make his way onto my short list yet, but I do quite love him right now. Out of the combos you’ve suggested, I think [name]Gabriel[/name] [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Gabriel[/name] [name]Noah[/name], [name]Gabriel[/name] [name]Atticus[/name], and [name]Gabriel[/name] [name]Conrad[/name], although I’m not sure I love any of them yet.
[name]ADORE[/name] it. I have a [name]Gabriel[/name] myself, and we’ve successfully called him just that, only perfect strangers attempt calling him [name]Gabe[/name], because I don’t like that nn either. He was [name]Little[/name] G when he was small, and now just G, if anyone insists on a nn. I get a kick out of [name]Noah[/name] as a mn or sib suggestion, since I also have one of those, but even more because they are the same person. [name]Noah[/name] is supposed to have been the angel [name]Gabriel[/name] but in his earthly form. It didn’t even hit us until after we had named them both.
I like [name]Gabriel[/name] too and I like the nickname [name]Gabe[/name] (although I can’t stand [name]Gabby[/name] for [name]Gabriella[/name]). [name]Evan[/name] actually makes a great middle name. [name]Gabriel[/name] and [name]Caleb[/name] sound too close to be brothers with the same “a” sound. [name]Gabriel[/name] and [name]Everett[/name] just seem too different. [name]Gabriel[/name] and [name]Asher[/name] sound great together! [name]Gabriel[/name] and [name]Jack[/name] aren’t a “perfect match” but I don’t think they sound awful together ([name]Jack[/name] just seems to “work” with a lot of names) [name]Gabriel[/name] and [name]Grayson[/name] could work. [name]Brody[/name] is too trendy for [name]Gabriel[/name]. [name]Spencer[/name] sounds good with [name]Gabriel[/name]. [name]Bailey[/name] and [name]Avery[/name] just don’t sound right. And [name]Boone[/name] is way different as for style. All great names, but as for sibsets I’d say [name]Gabriel[/name] goes best with [name]Asher[/name] and [name]Spencer[/name], then [name]Jack[/name] and [name]Grayson[/name].
I had a crush on the name [name]Gabriel[/name] too (a few months back). It sounds wonderful. It’s a very fine, handsome, and underused name! If we had another son, I would have strongly considered using [name]Gabriel[/name] EXCEPT, it’s a no-go for us since its too similar to our son [name]Daniel[/name]'s name.
