I currently have a crush on [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]. I should have a myriad of problems with it (stuffy, too common now, haven’t liked it in the past). However, as of now it sounds great, with possible nicknames of [name_f]Lia[/name_f] and [name_u]Mel[/name_u] and the middle name.

So, questions

  1. do y’all like the name? Is it usable?

  2. What about my chosen nicknames?

  3. The middle name [name_u]Harmony[/name_u]?

  4. Any other suggestions or comments?

  5. Anyone else have a current sudden name crush? :wink:

I love [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], but I think I prefer the spelling [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] a smidge more! There are so many great nicknames in addition to the ones you named. I love [name_u]Mel[/name_u], [name_f]Mia[/name_f], and [name_f]Mila[/name_f].

[name_u]Harmony[/name_u] as a middle name is nms but I think [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_u]Harmony[/name_u] flows nicely. Other options from your signature that I like are:

[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u]
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_u]Holland[/name_u] - so cute!
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Antoinette[/name_f]

[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is fine. You might want to consider [name_f]Emmy[/name_f]/[name_f]Emma[/name_f] as a nickname. I dislike [name_u]Harmony[/name_u] and I do not think it is usable.

Thank you guys for your replies- not sure if a form of [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] will stay on the list long term, but appreciate your help and still love the name!

I think that I may prefer the [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] spelling.
Any more thoughts?

I really prefer the spelling [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]. It looks so much sweeter to me than [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]. And I love your [name_f]Lia[/name_f] and [name_u]Mel[/name_u] nicknames! I also like [name_f]Mia[/name_f], but I have a feeling you were probably trying to avoid it for some reason lol

I’m not sure about [name_u]Harmony[/name_u]. I like the way it sounds, but I’m not sure someone would like to be named that.

Side note, I have a total sudden name crush on [name_f]Athena[/name_f] and [name_f]Alexia[/name_f] right now. It’s so funny that you should ask that =P
