New day, new list

Husband came up with a few. Thoughts?

[name_f]Victoria[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Theodora[/name_f]

Not a huge fan of [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], but that’s just me. [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] are lovely. Nickname potential: [name_f]Elle[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Nora[/name_f]. [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] is lovely too. Nicknames [name_f]Thea[/name_f] or [name_f]Dora[/name_f] would work (although I prefer [name_f]Thea[/name_f]). Of all three names I think [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]/[name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] shine the most.

My favorite are [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] for sure!

Yep, I prefer [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] over [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] too. They feel fresher, even though they have just as long a history of use.

[name_f]Theodora[/name_f] is my favourite of the two, especially with your other girls’ classic yet slightly off-beat names. [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] is stunning but feels a bit more mainstream than [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]. I do like the suggestion of elaborating it to [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f], though.

Both [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] and [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] are stunning, slightly frilly but still spunky, elegant names with great nickname potential. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you want another “-ee” nickname if possible? You could use [name_f]Dottie[/name_f] for [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] (or maybe even [name_f]Nellie[/name_f]?) for [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f]. I’d go with the former because Ellies are everywhere at the moment!

Very stylish and classic names. My favorite is [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] because it’s not as common as [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], but still not unheard of.

I liked [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] too because of the potential nicknames, since we love to use them. I thought [name_f]Thea[/name_f], [name_u]Teddy[/name_u], [name_f]Rorie[/name_f], and [name_f]Dottie[/name_f] were all cute.

I just fear that [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] is becoming too popular

I like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] best. My least favorite is [name_f]Theodora[/name_f], as it feels very clunky to me. I do like just [name_f]Thea[/name_f].

I love [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] the most! Then [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] and [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]. I agree with the pp who said that [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] sound fresher.

I think [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] is lovely and a really great fit with your girls’ names. I love the multiple nickname options. [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] kinda fits too, but it’s on the more popular side. [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], while nice, feels a bit flimsy next to [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], which are all nice and strong.

[name_f]Victoria[/name_f] is nice but I really like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Theodora[/name_f]…pretty!

The name [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] is alright, but I don’t like it as much as I like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]. As for [name_f]Theodora[/name_f], I don’t really like it.

[name_f]Victoria[/name_f]: I think this name is rather funky. I’ve only ever met two [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]'s and they’re very different people yet the name fit both of them perfectly! So, to me, this name is very usable. It also comes with a good few nicknames too, such as [name_f]Vicky[/name_f], [name_u]Vic[/name_u], [name_f]Tory[/name_f] and [name_f]Ria[/name_f]!

[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]: I really do love this name; I think it’s so pretty and such a timeless classic which will fit perfectly throughout each stage of a girl’s life. I do like the nicknames [name_f]Elle[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Noor[/name_f] and [name_f]Lea[/name_f], too!

[name_f]Theodora[/name_f]: I absolutely adore this name which is quite odd because I’m not crazy about [name_u]Theo[/name_u] or [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]… But [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] has such a pretty sound and precious air to it! It’s also tremendously underused.

[name_f]Theodora[/name_f] all the way! With nicknames [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], [name_u]Josie[/name_u] and [name_f]Tillie[/name_f], I think the best [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] nn would be [name_f]Dottie[/name_f]

Also just to throw out there (mostly thinking of every day nn) [name_u]Pennie[/name_u] would be darling with your other girls nn’s! So maybe longer name like [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]

Could [name_f]Rorie[/name_f] work as a nickname for [name_f]Theodora[/name_f]?

Most definitely! I love [name_f]Rorie[/name_f] as a nn for [name_f]Theodora[/name_f]

I love both [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Theodora[/name_f]! I definitely think [name_f]Rorie[/name_f] works as a nickname for [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] ([name_f]Theodora[/name_f] has so many amazing nn potentials, doesn’t it?!) and I think [name_f]Rorie[/name_f] would work as a nickname for [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] as well
