I totally understand the appeal, but don’t like the name myself. I can’t see it on an actual person, and it just sounds like jaundice to me ( feel free to ignore that, I’m just hyper- sensitive to sound alikes)
But it has the same ancient, soft appeal that [name_m]Julian[/name_m], [name_m]Julius[/name_m], and [name_u]Elias[/name_u] have.
I like it! It’s soft and gentle but to me has a mature aristocratic feel The only thing I wonder is what kind of nicknames you could have. [name_f]Junie[/name_f] is actually super cute and I can see it as a boy’s, but maybe J?
Sadly I’d have to agree.
I like [name_u]June[/name_u] as a middle for a boy, and [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] works as a first name if you ask me. I don’t see what’s so feminine about that one, and there’s a male [name_m]Saint[/name_m] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]… There’s also my beloved [name_m]Johannes[/name_m] <3
Old, soft and unusual are my favourite kind of boys name ^^

Hmm I hadn’t thought too much about the nickname yet. I tend to like names that come without an obvious nickname. I also know that you can’t plan a nickname, or at least I can’t. But good point.
