My husband and I are expecting our fifth baby. It is too early to know the sex and we are thinking of waiting to find out so this will be posted in both boy and girl names.
All four children are named after someone in our family.
[name_f]Kayla[/name_f] (we just liked it) [name_f]Marie[/name_f] (named after a close cousin)
[name_u]Lindsey[/name_u] (we just like it) [name_u]Nichole[/name_u] (name after a close cousin)
[name_m]Joseph[/name_m] (my father in laws name) [name_m]Douglass[/name_m] (my maiden) name
[name_u]Kendall[/name_u] (family last name) [name_f]Grace[/name_f] ( my grandmother’s middle name)
This baby will be named after my mother who passed in 2010. If we have a girl her middle name will be [name_f]Bren[/name_f].
I need girl names that go with [name_f]Bren[/name_f]. I have suggest [name_u]Harper[/name_u], [name_u]Hunter[/name_u], [name_f]Juliana[/name_f], and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. (Husband does not like the first two too bad because I love [name_u]Harper[/name_u] [name_f]Bren[/name_f]) my other cousin who has issues with me naming my youngest for now [name_u]Kendall[/name_u] (because she wanted it I guess) is name [name_u]Julie[/name_u] and I in a selfish way do not want her to think we named our baby [name_f]Juliana[/name_f] after her. So that has me thinking I wont use that name.
So I have watched the thread but never posted. I was wondering if anyone can help with our name.
P.S our last name ends in “son” so things like [name_u]Allison[/name_u] do not really sound good.
You’re style in names seems to be very contemporary, girly for girls and masculine for boys.
For a girl I would suggest:
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Bren[/name_f] or [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] [name_f]Bren[/name_f]
[name_f]Melanie[/name_f] [name_f]Bren[/name_f]
[name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Bren[/name_f] or [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_f]Bren[/name_f]
[name_u]Reese[/name_u] [name_f]Bren[/name_f]
[name_f]Amber[/name_f] [name_f]Bren[/name_f]
[name_f]Laurel[/name_f] [name_f]Bren[/name_f]
Am I hitting the right note style-wise?
Fro Boys, you could still honor your mother with a name lik [name_m]Brenden[/name_m],[name_m]Brennen[/name_m], or [name_m]Brent[/name_m].
[name_m]Christopher[/name_m] [name_m]Brennen[/name_m]
[name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_m]Brent[/name_m]
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]Brenden[/name_m]
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_m]Brennen[/name_m]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_m]Brent[/name_m]
Am I on the right page? [name_f]Hope[/name_f] these help!
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Bren[/name_f] as suggested sounds great, and [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_f]Bren[/name_f] is lovely and fits your fairly unisex style. My suggestions for you are juniper/junia or [name_f]Lyra[/name_f]. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is nice from your list, hunter is a bit masculine I think.
Thanks! You are totally on the right style. I am going to run these past my husband. He is a real pain when it comes to names. He always seems to know a third cousin twice removed who had the name.
Edited to add* I am loving the suggestions of everyone! Thanks so much.
