I was at my 28 week appointment today when I got to chatting with this lady in the waiting room who was a couple weeks further along than me. She asked me if I had a name picked out yet, and I told her that we had a list but weren’t sure yet.
She then told me about this site and some others I’d never heard of before and urged me to check you out. So here I am!
I don’t THINK she’s a member here but she might be.
Anyways, I have a list of names that my husband, [name]Matt[/name], and I LOOOOVE but can’t seem to narrow down. We originally planned on having [name]Matthew[/name] be the middle name, but then we’d heard somewhere that couples are actually giving two middle names a lot now, so we figured we would jump on the bandwagon. It’s a great way for us to use up our favorite names!
So here goes:
[name]Henry[/name]
[name]Leo[/name]
[name]Frederick[/name]
[name]Emerson[/name]
[name]Kellen[/name]
[name]Angus[/name]
[name]Liam[/name]
[name]Brennan[/name]
[name]Declan[/name]
[name]Kieran[/name]
[name]Brogan[/name]
[name]Reilly[/name]
[name]Jack[/name]
[name]Leland[/name]
[name]Welcome[/name]! Wow, I [name]LOVE[/name] alot of your names! [name]Declan[/name] is my favorite name ever for a boy, and I will only tell you this because I am not planning to have kids for 10-15 years, but my favorite combos are [name]Declan[/name] [name]Jude[/name] and [name]Declan[/name] [name]James[/name]. [name]Declan[/name] [name]Jude[/name] [name]Matthew[/name] and [name]Declan[/name] [name]James[/name] [name]Matthew[/name] are amazing! [name]Leo[/name], [name]Henry[/name], [name]Angus[/name], [name]Liam[/name] and [name]Jack[/name] are some of my other favorites. My brother is actually [name]Matthew[/name] [name]Liam[/name], so I can definitely see [name]Liam[/name] [name]Matthew[/name], or maybe [name]Liam[/name] [name]Angus[/name] [name]Matthew[/name]? Let me try out some middle name combinations. I used names from your list and some other names I like.
I love your names too. My favourite is [name]Frederick[/name] (my daughter is [name]Frederique[/name] and she gets mostly [name]Fred[/name], sometimes [name]Freddie[/name]). We have a double barrel surname so can’t really go the two middle name thing, but I think it’s a great idea. I tend to choose family/meaningful names for middle names (in [name]Frederique[/name]'s case we loved her first name so much we didn’t give her a middle name, my second daughter’s middle name is [name]Pearl[/name] because that’s what we nicknamed her in utero.)
We’re having a boy in [name]November[/name] and completely at a loss for names.
[name]Henry[/name]”a great name, but getting popular (if that bothers you)
[name]Leo[/name]”love [name]Leo[/name]!
[name]Frederick[/name]”love [name]Frederick[/name]! This might be my fave from your list
[name]Emerson[/name]”a nice name, not my favorite though
[name]Kellen[/name]”ditto
[name]Angus[/name]”I really love [name]Angus[/name] (and [name]Amos[/name] for that matter) but do think teasing might be an issue
[name]Liam[/name]”lovely name, also shooting up the charts
[name]Brennan[/name]”great, underused name
[name]Declan[/name]”even better. [name]Love[/name] [name]Declan[/name]!
[name]Kieran[/name]”not my favorite
[name]Brogan[/name]”ditto
[name]Reilly[/name]”[name]Riley[/name] is #38 on the girls list (don’t know if that bothers you”it’s still definitely a unisex name in my book)
[name]Jack[/name]”a good solid name that will never go out of style
[name]Leland[/name]”awesome. Would love to meet a little [name]Leland[/name]
[name]Welcome[/name]! I’m in [name]LOVE[/name] with some of your boys names!

[name]Frederick[/name]:It’s cute…

[name]Angus[/name]:All I can think of is angus beef.
[name]Liam[/name]:[name]Liam[/name] is awesome!I would use it as a nn for [name]William[/name],Though.
[name]Brennan[/name]:It just seems a little bland.
[name]Declan[/name]:I don’t see the appeal.
[name]Reilly[/name]:I’m usually not a fan of [name]Riley[/name],but I like it spelled this way.
[name]Kieran[/name]:I’ve never heard this before.
[name]Brogan[/name]:Not my fav on your list.
[name]Jack[/name]:[name]LOVE[/name] [name]Jack[/name],but it seems to be getting very popular.
[name]Leland[/name]:I don’t really like this,it seems fem.
[name]Henry[/name]- [name]Lovely[/name] classic name. It seems to be rising in popularity.
[name]Leo[/name]- [name]LOVE[/name] this one. So spunky and handsome.
[name]Frederick[/name]- [name]Love[/name] this too. But I’m not a bid fan of [name]Fred/name
[name]Emerson[/name]- Handsome but it is going to the girls. Be prepared for your son to share his name with 3 other girls in the class. Maybe [name]Emmerich[/name] or [name]Emmett[/name] instead?
[name]Kellen[/name]- Cute
[name]Angus[/name]- This is a type of cow.
[name]Liam[/name]- Very handsome but getting so popular.
[name]Brennan[/name]- Eh, lacks substance imo.
[name]Declan[/name]- Very handsome and far more distinguished than [name]Brennan[/name].
[name]Kieran[/name]- Cute
[name]Brogan[/name]- This is a name you dont hear alot on these boards. I think I kinda like it.
[name]Reilly[/name]- Handsome
[name]Jack[/name]- Very handsome but soooo popular.
[name]Leland[/name]- very handsome
You have some great names on your list. My favorites would have to be [name]Henry[/name], [name]Leo[/name], [name]Frederick[/name], and [name]Declan[/name].
[name]How[/name] about [name]Henry[/name] [name]Matthew[/name] [name]Frederick[/name], [name]Leo[/name] [name]Emerson[/name] [name]Matthew[/name], or [name]Declan[/name] [name]Matthew[/name] [name]Reilly[/name]?
I really love [name]Dean[/name] for a first name, its such a nice boys name! I also love the names [name]Brennan[/name]&[name]Jack[/name]!
