New name crush! Heath?

I recently rediscovered the name [name_m]Heath[/name_m]! I feel like it’s a strong, tough, masculine name - but still sweet and soft sounding. Thoughts on [name_m]Heath[/name_m]?

However, I’m not sure if there’s something about the sound that doesn’t sit right? Or am I just over thinking it? I don’t mind the [name_m]Heath[/name_m] [name_m]Ledger[/name_m] connection, I actually really like him.

It’s not a bad name but not something I would personally use. I don’t think there is anything really wrong with it as far as associations go. Despite the life style [name_m]Heath[/name_m] [name_m]Ledger[/name_m] chose, he was a genuinely good person. Besides [name_m]Ledger[/name_m], the only two things that really come to mind are the candy bar and the character from White Chicks. I do feel like it’s a bit odd to say but that could be from me not being a fan of the name [name_m]Keith[/name_m].

I also dislike [name_m]Keith[/name_m] and those feelings have unfortunately been transferred to the rhyming [name_m]Heath[/name_m]. [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Heath[/name_m] [name_m]Ledger[/name_m] though.

Also I keep looking at it and seeing health.

Fair enough, I get the rhyming thing! I dislike the name [name_m]Keith[/name_m] too, so I do understand. Thank you both for the feedback!

I really like [name_m]Heath[/name_m]! It’s really handsome and cool-sounding, with a fun touch of a cowboy vibe. I don’t know who [name_m]Heath[/name_m] [name_m]Ledger[/name_m] is.

Much prefer [name_m]Heath[/name_m] to [name_m]Keith[/name_m], but I associate it with the candy bar (which I don’t care for). Silly association, but that’s where my mind goes.

I do like the image of a wild, desolate moor, which adds a bit of ruggedness to the otherwise soft sounds.

[name_m]Heath[/name_m] is quite nice, quite rugged but i do admit i always want to complete [name_m]Heath[/name_m] with cliff ([name_m]Heathcliff[/name_m])

I love [name_m]Heath[/name_m] it’s been on my list for awhile now, it strikes just the right balance between familiar and unexpected. And i like both the [name_m]HEath[/name_m] [name_m]Ledger[/name_m] association and the candy one. (In fact if I ever had twin boys I would name them [name_m]Graham[/name_m] & [name_m]Heath[/name_m]…)

I think it’s a decent enough name, but I think what might be sticking out to you as something “off” might be the ending -th sound, which I think is a little bit offputting because it’s not common in names.

I love [name_m]Heath[/name_m]! It’s a current name crush of mine, actually. I probably wouldn’t use it myself, but I would love to see someone else use it.
