[name_f]Delphine[/name_f] and [name_f]Delphia[/name_f] are both nice but I’ve always loved simple [name_f]Delphi[/name_f] more than the longer forms.
[name_f]Alphonsine[/name_f] feels unusable. [name_f]Elvire[/name_f] is quite lovely, I’ve never heard if before but I do like [name_f]Elvira[/name_f] a lot.
[name_f]Philomena[/name_f] and [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] are two that I’ve never seen the appeal for but I guess they’re pretty names.
I love [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] [name_f]Elvire[/name_f].
But then again I tend to focus more on how they ‘go’ stylistically than how they sound… I guess as a combo [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] [name_f]Elvire[/name_f] doesn’t follow the rules but I don’t think good combos always have to. It’s beautiful.
[name_f]Delphine[/name_f] - Pretty, but I’ve always preferred [name_f]Delphi[/name_f] or Delphinium (a GP, of course. ;))

[name_f]Delphine[/name_f] - I used to be merely fond of this name, now I’m completely infatuated with it thanks to Orphan [name_m]Black[/name_m].
[name_f]Delphia[/name_f] - I would assume you were abbreviating “[name_u]Philadelphia[/name_u].” Not necessarily a bad thing, but I’d still make this one an MN only to avoid confusion.
[name_f]Alphonsine[/name_f] - Not terribly wearable in the FN spot, but I like its fun, steampunk vibe.
[name_f]Elvire[/name_f] - Ditto [name_f]Alphonsine[/name_f], but I get more of a 16th century [name_f]France[/name_f] vibe from this one (I think it’s the name of at least one Moliere character.)
[name_f]Philomena[/name_f] - Totally ready for revival, and I love the nn [name_f]Mina[/name_f]/[name_f]Mena[/name_f].
[name_f]Wendy[/name_f] - I kind of hate it. Sorry. [name_m]Just[/name_m] happens to be totally NMS–but hey, it’s just my opinion.
Of your combos, I think [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] [name_f]Elvire[/name_f] and [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] [name_f]Philomena[/name_f] are the ones that flow well. Neither is better than [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f], though–that one’s great!
