I think [name_m]Roland[/name_m], [name_m]Augustus[/name_m], and [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] match your current children really well. I like [name_m]Stellan[/name_m], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], and [name_u]Oberon[/name_u], too, but they’re a little more unusual. I don’t particularly care for [name_m]Matthias[/name_m] or [name_m]Jonah[/name_m], but they’re fine.

I still like all of the boy names in your signature.

I think I like [name_m]Matthias[/name_m] best with [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f], [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], and [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]. He just fits, although I am not sure if it’s too close to [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] (she goes by [name_f]Maddie[/name_f], right?). I also really like [name_u]Oberon[/name_u], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], and [name_m]Jonah[/name_m]. I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]August[/name_u] with your kiddos, but I feel like [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] isn’t as right of a fit. Was [name_u]August[/name_u] on your list when you were pregnant with [name_u]Theo[/name_u]?

No, [name_u]August[/name_u] wasn’t on the list before. I like [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] better but I think you are right that [name_u]August[/name_u] is a better fit. I will mull it over! :slight_smile: I also hadn’t thought about [name_m]Matthias[/name_m] being close to [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f], so thanks for pointing that out. [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] really wants to use a boy name (either first or middle) that has the same meaning as [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] (if we have another boy, that is.) Hubby has vetoed [name_m]Nathan[/name_m]/[name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m], so there aren’t a lot of options! I do like [name_m]Matthias[/name_m] more than [name_m]Matthew[/name_m]. :slight_smile: Thanks for the suggestions! And dovah, thanks for the gorgeous combo ideas!

[name_m]Matthias[/name_m] is perfect with your sibset. Are you pronouncing it “mah-TEE-es?”

See, there is the other problem. I like both ma-THY-us and ma-TEE-us. I’d have to go with ma-THY-us for sure (and this is hubby’s preferred pronunciation), with a sister named [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f].

I voted for [name_m]Roland[/name_m], [name_m]Matthias[/name_m], and [name_m]Augustus[/name_m]. I like [name_u]Oberon[/name_u] as well, although it’s extremely different from your kids’ names stylistically. The other options don’t carry the same weight as [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f], [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], and [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], at least in my opinion.

It was so hard to choose! I ended up voting for [name_m]Augustus[/name_m], although I do love [name_m]Matthias[/name_m] and [name_m]Jonah[/name_m] as well! :slight_smile:
