I like [name]August[/name] best, and think [name]August[/name] [name]Valo[/name] or [name]August[/name] [name]Odhran[/name] [name]Valo[/name] would be wonderful. My second choice for a first name would be [name]Ronin[/name].
Guess I should have known [name]August[/name] would win, the others are too foreign for most.
Ruled [name]August[/name] out though, as it doesn’t go well with our surname and I just don’t like it as much for a first name. [name]Valo[/name] is out as a fn as well as it’s too close to DD’s name.
So at the moment I’m liking

I voted for [name]Ronin[/name] as that is my favorite. I don’t think the ending is a problem or too close to your other children.
I’m not crazy about [name]August[/name] as a first name. It’s nice, but just not that special somehow.
[name]Oran[/name]- don’t like that this rhymes a bit with moron, if I am pronouncing it correctly that is?
[name]Isidor[/name]- I like it! Definitely the bold choice. However I think [name]Ronin[/name] fits in better with your sibset. I would be wary of [name]Izzy[/name] as a nn too. I like Zidi.
Overall my favorite is [name]Ronin[/name] [name]August[/name] [name]Valo[/name]
[name]Oran[/name] is pn ‘oar-in’ so not quite like moron.
I love [name]Isidor[/name] and I voted for it. [name]Don[/name]'t much care for Zidi as a nn – [name]Izzy[/name] doesn’t bother me as I know so many Isaacs and Yitzhaks that are [name]Izzy[/name] – but what about [name]Dory[/name] or [name]Doro[/name] for a nn? [name]Doro[/name] is common for [name]Isidor[/name] in Spain and [name]Italy[/name].
I voted for [name]Isidor[/name]. I’ve liked it for a long time. [name]How[/name] do you feel about [name]Sid[/name] as a nn? I like [name]Izzy[/name]; usually not crazy about gender neutral names, but with a nn, it doesn’t bother me. I like [name]Dory[/name] and [name]Doro[/name], too.
I like [name]Valo[/name] as a mn.
I love [name]Izzy[/name] for a boy, but afraid it will cause him hassle as [name]Isabella[/name] is so popular just now and there are so many [name]Izzie[/name]/Izzys with it. [name]Sid[/name] just reminds me of [name]Toy[/name] [name]Story[/name] (so he’s a bad guy in our house) and the book [name]Sybil[/name]. [name]Dory[/name] is a fish, [name]Doro[/name] is ok. [name]Isa[/name] would be good once we left Finland, but here it means Father.
