New Orleans, 1936. How do these names sound?

[name]Matilda[/name] [name]Bynum[/name]
[name]Leta[/name] White
[name]Owen[/name] Chambers
[name]Franklin[/name] Islas

Great surnames. I really like [name]Franklin[/name] and [name]Leta[/name]; they feel quite realistic. [name]Owen[/name] is a little less period-evocative (though still realistic), and I don’t know about [name]Matilda[/name]. [name]How[/name] old is she supposed to be?

[name]Glad[/name] you avoided stereotypical Cajun names like [name]Evangeline[/name] St [name]Pierre[/name] or something. Well done.

I disagree with blade, I have great grandparents, born around the 1930’s named [name]Matilda[/name] ([name]Tilly[/name]-[name]Sue[/name] was her nn) and [name]Owen[/name]!
