Hello!
Today my boyfriend and I picked out the kitten we’ll be taking home soon. However, we had always planned on naming our cat Temmie, but when we saw picked her we realised she just doesn’t fit the name (she is pure black and short haired, we always imagine Temmie to be much fluffier).
We are really trying to think of non-typical cat names for her, and Boyfriend wants to name her after a villain in a TV/film. So far we’ve thought of:
[name_u]Red[/name_u] (she is wearing a red collar now to distinguish her from her other pure black siblings, we like the idea that she’s named the wrong colour)
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] (from the show [name_m]Luther[/name_m] - I want this for a real child so it’s out)
Servalan (from a tv show he loved as a child and I don’t really care for)
[name_f]Darla[/name_f] (the ‘villain’ in Finding [name_m]Nemo[/name_m] - he doesn’t like it as much)
[name_u]Philadelphia[/name_u] (I like it, he doesn’t)
GLaDOS (we think it’s just ‘too easy’)
Suggestions would be great or just comments on these name ideas.
We’re British and like mostly BBC shows (The Thick of It, Bake Off, Dr Who) as well as computer games and Game of Thrones.
(In hindsight I should have read other threads before doing this because this feels too serious, but never mind)
