Hello all, first time on nameberry! Im looking to create a name for the youngest of four, our third daughter. Our last name is two syllables, starts with a G and ends with an N. Our son we had no trouble choosing his name, it was his grandfathers name and my dad’s name for the middle. Our first daughter we chose our name by flipping through a book and his mom’s name as middle. Our second daughter was a name we liked while pregnant with our first and his mom’s name as middle. But now that we’re expecting our third we can’t seem to find something that FITS. I’m due first week of [name_m]March[/name_m] 2026.
[name_f][/name_f]
Our kiddos names, in birth order are [name_f]Odessa[/name_f] [name_m]Lynn[/name_m] (F), Kalaes [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] (M), [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f] [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f] (F). Mom (Me) is [name_f]Klarissa[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] and dad is [name_m]Andreas[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m]. We have an S theme going, which was unintentional but I like, but I’m not locked to anything, just looking for anything that fits the others. First and middle name options welcome, but theres been some thought of using the name [name_m]Lee[/name_m] for my husband’s brother whom he’s very close to. We are both of Mediterranean heritage, so anything in that theme as well!
Congratulations! Your kids have such lovely names.
[name_f][/name_f]
Continuing the ss theme: [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Alessia[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Marissa[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Melissa[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Vanessa[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Jessica[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Thalassa[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Cassidy[/name_f] (although likely too similar to Cassandra)
Options that continue the double “S” theme: [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Messina[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Annelisse[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Thalassa[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Nerissa[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Elissa[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Jessamine[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]
Some options that include the letter “S”, but not double: [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Sybilla[/name_f] / [name_f]Sibylla[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]Ismara [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Giselle[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Callista[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Isadora[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Aristella[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Astoria[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Solara[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Elysia[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Tamsin[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Thais[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Rosenwyn[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Cosima[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Saskia[/name_f]
Alessia (SS but not too close - eg Alessandra is too close to Cassandra for me)
Andromeda (I love this with your set!)
Anastasia
Antigone (can use Tigga or Tiggy as nn)
Valentina
Seraphina
Theodora
Isadora
Lydia
Sabina
Sabrina
Serena
Thalassa (again, not too similar)
Thessaly
Philippa
Luciana
Delphina
Rafaella
Sabella
Olympia
Octavia
Ophelia
And while Lee alone works wonderfully, you could experiment to see if Leanne, Leah or Leonie suits the rhythm and flow best to your last name. Eg I prefer Seraphina Leanne to Seraphina Lee with two syllable G last name.
I would go a non-C/ non-K starting letter to tie in Odessa (and Andreas). If it’s your last child, you may wish to use an O name (but at least a non C/K). One of the last three O names would be so beautiful especially Olympia or Octavia.
I never even realized that our son matches his dad with the eas in their name! Dad goes by [name_m]Dre[/name_m] and Kalaes is usually [name_m]Kal[/name_m] these days lol
Unsure if the [name_m]Lee[/name_m] spelling is important for the honor but it’s a bit difficult [name_f][/name_f] to fit into girls’ names sometimes. Hopefully these help!
