I’m new to this forum. I’m currently just over 17 weeks pregnant on a team yellow baby, due [name]June[/name] 10th. We won’t be finding out the gender which is making choosing a name even more difficult!
My husband and I already have a 4 year old daughter, named [name]Amelie[/name] [name]Clara[/name]. What are your thoughts on our top contenders for baby #2?
Was Alro supposed to be [name]Arlo[/name]? If so, I like that one with [name]Amelie[/name]. I also think [name]Isaac[/name] and [name]Amelie[/name] go well together.
My favorites are [name]Benjamin[/name], [name]William[/name], [name]Theodore[/name], [name]Gabriel[/name] and [name]Cyrus[/name]. I think [name]Benjamin[/name], [name]William[/name] or [name]Gabriel[/name] would go great with [name]Amelie[/name]!
I think your list is fabulous with the exception of [name]Harry[/name] (no.1 name where I am from so I have heard it a little too often) and [name]Cyrus[/name] (I can’t get [name]Billy[/name] [name]Ray[/name] [name]Cyrus[/name] out of my head although I really like [name]Cy[/name]).
[name]Gabriel[/name] (one of my all-times faves) has the same musical sound as [name]Amelie[/name] so I think they would be a beautiful pairing although to be honest you can’t really go wrong with your list. Good luck deciding!

Independently, my favorite name from your list in [name]Cyrus[/name], but I don’t actually think that would match up particularly well with [name]Amelie[/name] ([name]Silas[/name] seems to match a bit better though).
Of your list, I definitely think [name]Gabriel[/name] matches the style/feeling of [name]Amelie[/name] the best, and is a very nice name (though the fact that is the 24th most popular name would keep me away from it personally).
I think some variations of some of your names would also work well. For example, though I think [name]Matthew[/name] is a little too ‘standard’ to match up well with [name]Amelie[/name] (would match up better with something like [name]Emily[/name]), I think a name like [name]Mattias[/name], [name]Mathias[/name] or [name]Matteo[/name] would work wonderfully.
[name]Isaac[/name] or [name]Arlo[/name] I also think work together with [name]Amelie[/name] pretty well.
[name]Theodore[/name] is another name I really like, but sounds a little too ‘formal’ next to [name]Amelie[/name] (as does [name]William[/name]).
[name]Harry[/name], [name]Samuel[/name] and [name]Benjamin[/name] are names I’ve never particularly liked, though they are pretty timeless classics so for most people they could never really be considered a bad choice, just not to my personal taste.
