Newest obsession: Emma Gwendolyn

I became a fan of the name [name]Gwendolyn[/name] when I heard in a commercial last year, but I hadn’t figured out how to use it.
Then my newest “name hunt” was to find great a name for a twin sister for [name]Alessandra[/name] [name]Chloe[/name]/[name]Serenity[/name].

[name]Emma[/name] was the first name to pop into my mind, so I decided to run with it. I’ve always like [name]Emma[/name], but it’s far too popular now. Although I predict by the time I get around to having kid (6+ years from now), it’ll have dwindled a bit.
SO! I decided to balance out [name]Alessandra[/name] [name]Chloe[/name], I’d have to do [name]Emma[/name] with a longer, more unique middle name. And since there’s a letter difference between [name]Alessandra[/name] and [name]Chloe[/name] (ABC) I figured to try the same thing with [name]Emma[/name], (EFG).

Then boom: [name]Emma[/name] [name]Gwendolyn[/name] was born. (In name only.)

So thoughts berries? Criticisms? [name]How[/name] does it sound with [name]Alessandra[/name] [name]Chloe[/name]? Does [name]Gwendolyn[/name] or [name]Gwendolen[/name] look better with [name]Emma[/name]?

My search for “A Twin For [name]Alessandra[/name]” still continues though. Mostly because it’s so much fun. :stuck_out_tongue:

I like the pattern that the two names have! That’s very cute, but not immediately obvious. I like sibling names like that.
I think [name]Emma[/name] [name]Gwendolyn[/name] is lovely! [name]Alessandra[/name] Chlor and [name]Emma[/name] [name]Gwendolyn[/name] are quite stunning names for twins.
I prefer [name]Gwendolyn[/name] with [name]Emma[/name] as the [name]Gwendolen[/name] spelling just looks…I don’t know, I can’t put my finger on it, I just don’t like that spelling. My all-time favourite spelling of the name is [name]Gwendoline[/name] however. And I’ve also seen it spelt [name]Gwendolyne[/name]/[name]Gwendolynne[/name], which I’m iffy about. What do you think of those spellings with [name]Emma[/name]? [name]Emma[/name] [name]Gwendoline[/name] or [name]Emma[/name] [name]Gwendolynne[/name]. Out of those two, I must prefer [name]Gwendoline[/name], though I may be biased.
Good luck!

I like the way [name]Emma[/name] is balance with the more unusual [name]Gwendolyn[/name]. I’m not a massive fan of either but I like/love? them together - the power of a good combination.

Definitely [name]Gwendolyn[/name] with [name]Emma[/name] - the y ensures less of an emphasis on the e.

Thanks! I like [name]Gwendoline[/name], but to me it looks like it’s said [name]GWEN[/name]-DOH-line?
[name]Emma[/name] [name]Gwendoline[/name] would be nice. I’d thought of [name]Emma[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] before. I think [name]Gwendolyn[/name] is more what I going for though. Thanks for the suggestions.

Yeah, I think that’s a very good point. [name]Gwendolen[/name] is too e heavy with [name]Emma[/name].

Absolutely welcome!

I really like [name]Emma[/name] [name]Gwendolen[/name]/[name]Gwendolyn[/name]! I actually prefer [name]Gwendolen[/name] with [name]Emma[/name]–I don’t think anything could be too “E” heavy, especially when [name]Gwendolyn[/name] sounds practically the same. I actually like [name]Gwendolyn[/name] [name]Emma[/name]/[name]Gwendolen[/name] [name]Emma[/name] with [name]Alessandra[/name] [name]Chloe[/name], though. I think [name]Gwendolyn[/name] and [name]Alessandra[/name] match more stylistically, as do [name]Emma[/name] and [name]Chloe[/name].

Good luck!
