We are Due in 10 weeks!
Dh came to me with this name…[name]NIALL[/name]. He loves it.
I am not crazy about it. He also loves [name]NILS[/name] (his middle name). Not crazy about it either
I love [name]Nathaniel[/name], he is OK with it.
We were really looking for a “N” name.
Other suggestions are [name]Noah[/name] and [name]Nicholas[/name], but not real contenders.
We do not like last names as first names, “trendee” names and our last name ends in ‘son’ so prefer a first name that doesnt end in ‘N’ - find it too harsh.
Also, [name]Nolin[/name] as an option is out, close nephew with this name
Please offer N name suggestions and your thoughts on [name]Niall[/name], [name]Nils[/name] and [name]Nathaniel[/name].
I know [name]Niall[/name] is a legitimate spelling, but at first glance it does appear to be a bit of a made up spelling.
What about [name]Nathaniel[/name], nn [name]Nils[/name]?
I also like [name]Nicholas[/name], nn [name]Nico[/name].
I like all of those ESP. [name]Nils[/name] and [name]Nathaniel[/name]. You might be able to win you husband over with the nickname [name]Nate[/name].
[name]Neil[/name] / [name]Neal[/name] is the first name that came to mind.
I loooooove [name]Niall[/name] (Ny uhl). I just had to comment when I saw your topic. It’s just so different and handsome and Irish. And it means “champion”- how cool is THAT?
It’s not a name that you’ll hear three times in one day at the playground but it’s classic and legit. I encourage you to use it. It’s great!
It is in my top 3 if we have another boy someday.
Best wishes! hope he’s shaped like a bullet
