Niamh and Hugh's Sister!

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there,

I am searching for a girl’s name to be the sister of [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] and [name_m]Hugh[/name_m]. I love both those names and their originality but I can’t find a girl’s name to go with them! I am absolutely clueless so any ideas will be a huge help.

Thank you so much!

Awesome names! I would totally go with another one syllable/shortish name.
[name_f]Niamh[/name_f], [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] and:

I’m sure you’ve considered a few of these, but I think these would be particularly well-suited sibling names for [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] and [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] (I love your kids names!):

[name_f]Eithne[/name_f] / [name_f]Enya[/name_f] / [name_f]Aithnea[/name_f]

I second the suggestion of [name_f]Gwen[/name_f].

[name_f]Niamh[/name_f], [name_m]Hugh[/name_m], and…

Firstly, I adore [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] and [name_m]Hugh[/name_m]! Fantastic names.

[name_m]How[/name_m] about:
[name_f]Ailsa[/name_f] (ayl-sah)

[name_f]Niamh[/name_f], [name_m]Hugh[/name_m], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], [name_f]Megan[/name_f], [name_f]Kerensa[/name_f], [name_f]Dilys[/name_f], [name_f]Helena[/name_f], [name_f]Nora[/name_f], [name_f]Gwen[/name_f], [name_f]Bridget[/name_f]

[name_f]Niamh[/name_f] and [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] are lovely names. Though, I have to ask - are you building a general list, or [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] and [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] your kids’ names already and you are looking for a sibling name?

[name_f]Niamh[/name_f], [name_m]Hugh[/name_m], &

I have [name_f]Nuala[/name_f] on my list which is Irish and so popped into my head straight away when I saw your elder daughters name is [name_f]Niamh[/name_f]. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t know if the n sound makes them too matchy tho?

[name_f]Niamh[/name_f], [name_m]Hugh[/name_m], and:

[name_f]Eilis[/name_f] (or [name_f]Ailis[/name_f])
[name_u]Ailbhe[/name_u] (or [name_u]Alva[/name_u])
[name_f]Meabh[/name_f] (or [name_f]Maeve[/name_f])

I would definitely keep the name to one or two syllables at most, since with siblings that both have very straightforward, one syllable names, a name with three or four syllables will sound too overbearing. But you should be fine with a two syllable name like [name_f]Edie[/name_f] or [name_f]Eilis[/name_f] (eye-lish). My pick would probably be [name_f]Meabh[/name_f], but if you live in the US, [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] may be a simpler option.

I absolutely adore your children’s names! They’re both so fantastic, and they go really well together as a set.
Some suggestions:
(sorry for any repeats, and I hope you find a name you love!)

I thought [name_f]Edie[/name_f]/ [name_u]Eden[/name_u] and am interested that other people have suggested the same!
