I need help deciding between the three names.
Also, is [name_m]Nikolas[/name_m] too “spunky” of a spelling variation?
Please let me know, thank you

I prefer [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m], I know too many Nicks. I wouldn’t say [name_m]Nikolas[/name_m] is particularly “spunky,” it’s just more inconvenient because people will constantly misspell it.
[name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]. [name_m]Nikolas[/name_m] isn’t… cool, I prefer [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m]. [name_u]Nico[/name_u] is a great nickname!
[name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] is my favorite followed by [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m].
I like [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]. I wouldn’t use [name_m]Nikolas[/name_m] unless you want to honor a part of the world that uses that spelling. Not a [name_m]Nate[/name_m] fan.
I love the name [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m], but I like it spelled [name_m]Nicolas[/name_m]. I don’t like the name [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] at all - the “yul” at the end isn’t appealing to me, nor are the other sounds in the name.
I’m personally not big on [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] and as someone else said, would only use [name_m]Nikolas[/name_m] if you are of or are honoring a culture that uses that spelling.
Definitely [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m]! It’s handsome, familiar but not too common. Plus [name_m]Nate[/name_m] and [name_u]Neely[/name_u] are cute nicknames!
I know so many people named [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] I’m kind of tired of it. And a [name_m]Nikolas[/name_m] would get his name misspelled all the time.
I prefer [name_m]Nikolas[/name_m] - not too out there at all.
I love [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m]! Soft, sweet, strong, traditional but not overused. I’d call him [name_u]Nat[/name_u] but there are plenty of options with this one.
I like [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] best, although [name_u]Nick[/name_u] feels very tied to my own generation. Not a fan of [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] for personal reasons.
