I think you can spell it [name]Nicholas[/name] and still use the name [name]Nico[/name].
Based on all the guys I know with these names, the [name]Nicholas[/name]'s are really nice, and the [name]Nicolas[/name]'s are rotten jerks. I may also be biased, since [name]Nicholas[/name] is my brother’s name
^I completely agree!
I like names that are as phonetic as possible… so I like [name]Nicolas[/name]… more streamlined!
I think you can definitely use [name]Nico[/name] with [name]Nicholas[/name]. If you can use [name]Nick[/name] with [name]Nicholas[/name] since there is no k I don’t see why you cannot use [name]Nico[/name] as well.
My youngest is [name]Nicolas[/name]. My previous last name was Valdez so I went with the hispanic spelling and I preferred it to [name]Nicholas[/name] anyway. He goes by [name]Nico[/name] (knee-co) at daycare.
My brother is a [name]Nicholas[/name] and I dated a [name]Nicolas[/name], so I definitely vote [name]Nicholas[/name] and think you could use [name]Nico[/name] as a nn.
[name]Nicholas[/name] for me! I agree that you could do [name]Nicholas[/name] nn [name]Nico[/name], and [name]Nicolas[/name] feels incompete to me. [name]Nicholas[/name] feels just right to me.
Good luck!
I agree with the others, you could use [name]Nico[/name] with [name]Nicholas[/name]. I don’t know, I think either spelling is cute ^-^
