I really dislike [name]Camden[/name] as a name. It’s a really cool area of [name]London[/name],but not the most reputable. The [name]Camden[/name] in [name]America[/name] seems to be…struggling? An odd place name choice.
The most well-known city of [name]Camden[/name] in [name]America[/name] is [name]Camden[/name], New [name]Jersey[/name], a pretty dilapidated former industrial town across the Delaware [name]River[/name] from [name]Philadelphia[/name]. It frequently earns the “honor” of being the most dangerous city in [name]America[/name] and of having the most murders per capita. Yeah, so . . . not exactly namesake material!
I think there was already a post about the name, but I’ll comment again, haha. I’ll just try to not talk about the fact that there was recently a [name]Camden[/name] [name]Jack[/name]/I’m never been a huge fan of [name]Kristin[/name] Cavallari…
[name]Camden[/name] [name]John[/name] isn’t my favorite. Perhaps [name]Camden[/name] is supposed to be an alternative to the very popular [name]Cameron[/name]? That and with how popular [name]Cameron[/name] [name]Diaz[/name] is, the [name]Cam[/name] part feels slightly feminine.
When I think of [name]Camden[/name], I think of [name]Camden[/name] Yards, the ballpark for the [name]Baltimore[/name] Orioles. I had always wondered by [name]Camden[/name] had a rough reputation but now I know. Thank you @betsy buttercup for clearing that up!
I think city names can be tricky, but with the reputation that [name]Camden[/name] holds, [name]Camden[/name] probably wasn’t the best choice.
As an NJ native I think of our unfortunate [name]Camden[/name]. Soundwise it’s got that [name]Jayden[/name] sound & [name]Cameron[/name] sound which I think has modern appeal to many people, but neither are for me. I love [name]John[/name] though…
