Nickname for Ithaka?

Odd name I know but I adore it for a character. She does need a NN though and I’m coming up blank

Maybe something like Tak? I was thinking Ithy (like [name_u]Izzy[/name_u]), but realized that it might sound too similar to “icky” or “iffy”

Could [name_f]Kathy[/name_f] or [name_f]Kat[/name_f] (maybe even Katty or [name_u]Kit[/name_u]) work? I can picture [name_f]Kathy[/name_f] being a childhood nickname stemming from a mispronunciation of Ihaka, but I understand if that’s a bit of a stretch.

For a more literal nickname, Thak could work. It reminds me of [name_m]Zack[/name_m], and I imagine it’s already a nickname for something like Thackery.

I was also thinking of Ithy. Though it is similar to “iffy”, you might be able to get away with it. It’s kind of cute and your character might be able to pull it off.

I personally think that the name sounds better off by itself, without a nickname.

I like [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] or Thaka. Those seem the most natural to me.
