What do you all think about the name [name_f]Marjorie[/name_f] with the nickname [name_f]Margo[/name_f]? I love the name [name_f]Margo[/name_f], but i don’t like it alone as the first name. I know [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] and [name_f]Margery[/name_f] would technically work better, but they remind me too much of the name marge. If you have any other suggestions let me know!
I would assume [name_f]Margie[/name_f] or something like that. [name_f]Margo[/name_f] is more like a name on its own, that doesn’t really have much to do with [name_f]Marjorie[/name_f]. So, I would personally think that’s a bit of a stretch.
I think [name_f]Margo[/name_f] could work as a fine nickname for [name_f]Marjorie[/name_f]. I also think [name_f]Maggie[/name_f], [name_f]Margie[/name_f], [name_f]Marge[/name_f], or [name_f]Joy[/name_f] could work. Think of it this way [name_f]Peggy[/name_f] is a nick name for [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], so you don’t have to be to literal with the where you got your inspiration for a nickname!
I love [name_u]Jorie[/name_u] for a nickname for [name_f]Marjorie[/name_f]. Pronounced with the emphasis on the first syllable that sounds like the first part of [name_m]George[/name_m]. Good luck!

I think you could get away with [name_f]Margo[/name_f] - especially since [name_f]Peggy[/name_f] is considered a nickname for [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]. There’s also [name_f]Mimi[/name_f] or [name_u]Jo[/name_u] that I think could plausibly come from [name_f]Marjorie[/name_f].
[name_f]Marjorie[/name_f] is too cute. (in a good way)
