Nickname for Nathaniel Christopher?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m], everyone-

We are due in five weeks and are deciding between [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] and [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] for a little brother to [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u], who goes by [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] or [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u]. We are so excited! However, we’re looking for a sweeter nickname than [name_m]Nate[/name_m] for [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m], and [name_u]Cal[/name_u] is an easy nickname for [name_m]Calvin[/name_m]. We just want something with that cute factor but can’t think of anything other than [name_m]Natty[/name_m], which is something maybe we could use in speaking but not in writing…? We like [name_u]Nat[/name_u] but don’t necessarily love it. I like [name_u]Kit[/name_u] as a nickname for [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] (after my dad). So [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] [name_u]Kit[/name_u] would probably be what we call him… anyway, I know this is rambling, but does anyone have any nickname suggestions that are more youthful and softer sounding that would “match” [name_u]Teddy[/name_u]'s? THANKS in advance! We’re getting so close to our [name_m]EDD[/name_m] and with each passing day I’m getting more anxious about this little guy’s moniker! We appreciate the help

For a longer name it doesn’t have a ton of obvious nicknames, does it? You can always call him [name_u]Kit[/name_u] even though it’s a nickname for his middle name. We call my daughter ([name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]) [name_f]Bea[/name_f] sometimes. When we started calling her that I worried it would cause confusion since it’s a nickname for her middle, but it never has. She’s 4.
