I love [name_m]Phineas[/name_m], it used to be guilty pleasure name for me but recently it seems to be more usable in my mind.
I would definitely want to use their full name because I love the name as it is but I am realistic that kids get nicknames, especially once they hit school age.
I dont mind the name [name_u]Finn[/name_u] but I wouldn’t want that to become their nickname partly because its such a popular name here but also I have a family member with a Fyn already. But I just can’t think of any other nicknames that work for [name_m]Phineas[/name_m].
From the name page “[name_f]Trivia[/name_f] note: In early movies, characters named [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] had nicknames like [name_f]Prune[/name_f], Whipsnake and Whoopee.” Ha! Any of those work for you?

I quite like [name_m]Phinny[/name_m]. I had thought maybe if I went for [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] with a z sound middle name like [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] to use use Phizzy/Fizzy which I think is cute for a toddler thought not sure how long that’d last
I love P names so had thought maybe [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] [name_u]Percy[/name_u] but having his initials be PP might not go down well. But I do like the idea of [name_u]Pip[/name_u].
