I love the name [name]Thurston[/name] but I don’t think it’s the type of name I would want to constantly be saying. But I love it as a formal name for my (maybe) son.
But what would you do for a nickname?

Thurst (Thirst) is out, so the only thing I can come up with is [name]Stone[/name]. Hmm…
Thur…maybe? I don’t know.
Tough, right? I figure once you’ve said Thurst, you might as well say [name]Thurston[/name] - it’s the same amount of effort.
The only one I’ve come up with is [name]Tony[/name].
Thirsty!
Thu? I think the best way is maybe think of an alternate nicknamey name that’s unrelated. My name is [name]Thurston[/name] but everybody calls me [name]Eddie[/name]. I guess [name]Tony[/name] would be closer.
What about [name]Rusty[/name]?
Is that too far a stretch?
Are you against initials? I used to know a kid named [name]Thurman[/name] [name]John[/name] so he was called TJ.
[name]Thor[/name]? Is that too much of a stretch?
[name]Rusty[/name] is a great idea.
