I love the name [name]Thurston[/name] but I don’t think it’s the type of name I would want to constantly be saying. But I love it as a formal name for my (maybe) son.
But what would you do for a nickname?
Thurst (Thirst) is out, so the only thing I can come up with is [name]Stone[/name]. Hmm…

Thu? I think the best way is maybe think of an alternate nicknamey name that’s unrelated. My name is [name]Thurston[/name] but everybody calls me [name]Eddie[/name]. I guess [name]Tony[/name] would be closer.
