I thought of a nickname today that I have never heard before: Vettie!
Have you heard it used as nickname? If so, for what name? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think Vettie works as nickname for [name_f]Violet[/name_f]?
Originally, Vie and [name_f]Lettie[/name_f] were my favorite nicknames for [name_f]Violet[/name_f], but I am really liking Vettie. What do you think of it?
I think its unique but not ridiculous. I like that its a spin off of the two nicknames you like! I would just make sure you’re comfortable using a unique name that most people probably haven’t heard of before. If you’re fine with that, I say go for it!
I think Vettie definitely works, but I have to say I don’t like it at all. It sounds like a nn for a veterinarian to me. 
And it seems really cartoonish, and sweet-crazy (it reminds me of Venelope (or whatever her name was?!) in Wreck-It [name_m]Ralph[/name_m]). I have tossed around Liddy/Litty, [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] and [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] for [name_f]Violet[/name_f] in the past–I’m not a huge fan of the more obvious [name_f]Vivi[/name_f]/[name_f]Vi[/name_f] and [name_f]Lettie[/name_f], honestly. Although I do like [name_f]Lettie[/name_f] much more of the two.
I like vivi as a nickname (veevee) so cute!

Vi, [name_f]Ila[/name_f], [name_m]Ilie[/name_m], Vio, [name_u]Ollie[/name_u], [name_f]Lettie[/name_f], [name_f]Ettie[/name_f], [name_f]Etta[/name_f], and [name_f]Lola[/name_f] are all the nicknames I can think of for [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
