Not expecting, just collecting, as usual
One of my current top names is [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] (I prefer the yoo-LAY-lee pronunciation.) [name_f]My[/name_f] grandfather is [name_m]Eugene[/name_m] and I would like to use it to honor him. Euli/Yuli isn’t a bad nickname, but I was also considering [name_u]Laney[/name_u] or [name_f]Lainey[/name_f], especially if I chose a nickname with a prominent N sound. [name_f]My[/name_f] MIL has a unique family name that sounds similar to [name_u]Delaney[/name_u], so Laney/Laney could be a way to honor her as well. I also think [name_f]Lilou[/name_f] could work for [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f], especially with the right middle name. One of my family nicknames growing up was [name_f]Lyssa[/name_f] [name_u]Lou[/name_u] (even though the [name_u]Lou[/name_u] part came out of nowhere, my mn is Marie) and I like that connection to [name_f]Lilou[/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] other daughters are [name_f]Eleonora[/name_f] (Ella), [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] (Zibby) and [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_u]Sparrow[/name_u] (Zuzu). Thoughts?
