What are some full names to get the nickname Posy?

And would consider Posy to be too close to cousin named Rosalie who goes by Rosie? Cousin would be about 10 yrs older and we only see them a handful of times a year, although they might move closer.

[name_f]Primrose[/name_f], [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], or Mariposa!! Maybe even [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] or [name_f]Persephone[/name_f]? (Although [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] might be too similar to [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] for your liking!)

I think [name_f]Posy[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] are close, but because of the age difference, it should be fine. I have cousins with rhyming names and it was never a huge issue!

[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] or [name_u]Paisley[/name_u] could work :relaxed: I don’t think it’s too similar to [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] or “Rosie”, especially since [name_f]Posie[/name_f] will be your child’s nn not their actual name.

Thanks everyone! I especially like [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]! (Just wish it wasn’t so popular right now lol). [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is good too – I wouldn’t have thought of that!

I think since you only see [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] a couple of times a year, it’s fine :slight_smile:

[name_u]Penrose[/name_u], [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] came to mind
