Nickname?

Okay, so [name]Ashlyn[/name]. Yeah, I know it’s not [name]Aislinn[/name] or [name]Aisling[/name], which is much nicer, but it’s what I’m stuck with. And all my life, I’ve wanted a nickname. Yeah, there’s [name]Ash[/name], but it reminds me of, well, ash. And then there’s probably my least favourite nickname, Ashy. I just hate it. Not my cup of tea. (Of course the grade four nickname Ass-lyn is equally bad.) Okay so, what you, fellow berries are going to help me with is what do you think of me having the nickname [name]Lyn[/name]. It’s simple, timeless and EVERYONE can pronounce it (I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten [name]Ashley[/name] or [name]Asha[/name]-lyn.)
Thanks in advance!

I like [name]Lynn[/name] quite a bit. It looks incomplete with one n to me, but probably just because I’m used to it the other way. It certainly makes sense as a nn.

I also like [name]Asha[/name] much better than [name]Ash[/name] or Ashy.

[name]How[/name] about [name]Shay[/name]/[name]Shea[/name]?

What about [name]Ally[/name] or Alyn?
