Nicknames for a hard name?

Hi, everyone. [name_f]My[/name_f] little girl is going through a nickname phase and we gave her a bit of a hard name for it. Her name is [name_f]Anya[/name_f] [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], we have tons of nicknames for [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], [name_f]Anya[/name_f] is not so easy. Short names are hard to nickname, but my niece [name_u]Clare[/name_u] goes by GummyClare so I thought maybe we could come up with something lke that, or wth both names together, but I can’t think of anything and I thought maybe I could ask the people who helped me name her in the first place. TIA

I have an [name_f]Anouk[/name_f] and we call her [name_f]Anoushka[/name_f], which I think is rather fabulous :star_struck:

Anya and [name_f]Anoushka[/name_f] are both Russian nicknames for [name_f]Anna[/name_f], so this isn’t as tenous as it might sound!

Besides the obvious [name_f]Annie[/name_f] (which I love), and the wonderful suggestion of [name_f]Anoushka[/name_f]:
