Also just checking that [name]Anouk[/name] is pronounced like [name]Ah[/name]-NOOK (as in reading nook or like book) and not like [name]Ah[/name]-NUKE (as in fluke)?

I think Anouk (audio prn)[name]Anouk[/name] is short enough that it doesn’t need a nn, however you could always use Nounou if you don’t mind the fact that it means nanny.

Um, [name]Anouk[/name] IS essentially a nickname, for [name]Anne[/name]. And it’s short and simple enough that i wouldn’t bother trying to shorten it.
I believe A-Nuke. However, it is also an [name]Indian[/name] unisex name, of Sanskrit origin. That version would be pronounced A-nO-K - long O sound, with the emphasis on the last syllable (-nouk) instead of the first (A-).
I like it as a nn for [name]Annouska[/name], personally.
[name]Do[/name] not call her Nookie, whatever you do!
I wouldn’t call her nuke either, especially if she tends to be gassy. jk.
