I am writing because I am a first time mom and my husband and I are having some trouble agreeing on names. We both happen to like the name [name]Jacob[/name] (I know, it’s popular) but I do not like the nicknames [name]Jake[/name] or [name]Jack[/name] or other conventional nicknames. Can you suggest some nicknames for [name]Jacob[/name] that we could call the baby instead of [name]Jacob[/name] for some character and individuality in a sea of Jacobs? Thanks!

There is a [name]Jacob[/name] I know called [name]Coby[/name]. I thought it was very cute and different when I heard it.

Maybe [name]Jay[/name] or [name]Jazz[/name] or even [name]Job[/name] (with a long “E” sound)
