I need all your expertise! My daughter will be one year old in a few weeks and I find myself no longer in love with her name (seriously, I knew this would happen, I’m so name obsessed!). Her name is Meridy and I’d like to come up with a cute nickname but do not like the obvious ones listed below. I’d prefer a nickname that is a rendition of Meridy… Any ideas???

We always said if we had a boy we would name him Aero (arrow). Would it be a stretch to call “Meridy,” “Eiro” (arrow)??

I think [name_f]Merry[/name_f] is a very cute, sparkly nick name. Eiro does seem like a stretch.

I love [name_f]Mela[/name_f] (ME-la) actually, and hadn’t even considered that one! Also [name_f]Ree[/name_f]/Ri is super cute as is Meran [Mer(idy)+An(gel)]!!!

Meridy is pronounced like [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] with an -ee ending :slight_smile:

I have [name_f]Merida[/name_f] on my list and was thinking nn [name_f]Ida[/name_f] would be cute and not super obvious with
Meridy Angel [name_f]Ida[/name_f] might work too.

I like Me-la as a nickname but spelt [name_f]Mila[/name_f]. I think that is a wonderful nickname.

The [name_f]Mila[/name_f] spelling will also help distinguish her from your sister [name_u]Mel[/name_u]. Meridy is a lovely name.
