Can you think of any other nicknames for [name_f]Odessa[/name_f] other than [name_f]Dessa[/name_f], [name_f]Essie[/name_f], [name_f]Essa[/name_f], [name_f]Ode[/name_f]/[name_m]Odie[/name_m]? I know it’s a stretch, but do you think that [name_f]Ada[/name_f] could work? Thanks so much
I love [name_f]Odessa[/name_f]! I think [name_f]Ada[/name_f] would work fine. I can’t really think of many other options, maybe [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] or [name_f]Dee[/name_f].
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] sounds great there are lots of nicknames that are super similar to the actual name!
[name_f]Odessa[/name_f] . . .
[name_f]Sissy[/name_f]
[name_f]CeCe[/name_f]
[name_m]Otto[/name_m]
Dess
[name_u]Dessie[/name_u]
@myosotis Thank you for your reply! It’s a new favourite of mine I’m glad you think that [name_f]Ada[/name_f] would work, I didn’t see anyone else suggestions anywhere online. I hadn’t though [name_f]Sadie[/name_f].
@tessamay Thank you for your reply! I’m glad you also think that [name_f]Ada[/name_f] could work
@tranquilstars Thank oh for your reply! I like [name_f]Cece[/name_f], I hadn’t though of that one
I think [name_f]Ada[/name_f] would be fine but it’s probably about as far as you could push it.
[name_f]Ode[/name_f]
[name_m]Odie[/name_m]
[name_f]Essie[/name_f]
I pronounce [name_f]Odessa[/name_f] like oh-DESS-ah, not ah-DESS-ah, so I think [name_f]Ada[/name_f] is a stretch. I have a friend with a girl named [name_f]Odessa[/name_f], no nickname, though I sometimes refer to her as Yoda to myself.
[name_m]Odie[/name_m]
Ness
[name_m]Ozzie[/name_m]
[name_f]Essa[/name_f]
[name_f]Doe[/name_f]
[name_f]Dessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Odessa[/name_f] is lovely, grand yet grounded.
I do think [name_f]Ada[/name_f] is a bit too much of a stretch, especially as [name_f]Oda[/name_f] or [name_f]Essa[/name_f]/[name_f]Essie[/name_f] feel so natural and intuitive.
Ilove [name_f]Dessa[/name_f], [name_f]Essa[/name_f] and [name_m]Odie[/name_m]…
If you don’t like any nicknames that more naturally stem from [name_f]Odessa[/name_f], it might make more sense to name her [name_f]Adessa[/name_f] and call her [name_f]Ada[/name_f]. If you aren’t going to call her a name that actually sounds like the full name, why choose that full name?
Anyway, some other options for [name_f]Odessa[/name_f]:
[name_f]Dae[/name_f] or [name_u]Day[/name_u]
[name_m]Esa[/name_m]
[name_f]Osa[/name_f]
[name_f]DeeDee[/name_f]
[name_f]Dee[/name_f]
[name_u]Dessie[/name_u]
[name_f]Tess[/name_f]/[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]/[name_f]Tessie[/name_f] (stretch)
It doesn’t need one
